You will be accommodated at the Wellness Inn Hotel, which is located in the heart of Ashvem beach, in North Goa. You are able to choose from cozy double rooms, for single or double occupancy and spacious family rooms, suitable for two or four guests. All rooms have attached bathrooms with hot water, air conditioner and Wi-Fi access.

This teacher training program is suitable for everyone.     After teaching in North America, the UK, and taking part as a leading teacher in Hatha and pranayama in yoga teacher trainings in India, Jose realized the need for a new understanding of teaching for the modern yoga students, where the original values of yoga would not be compromised by the new learning tools and trends. His understanding about yoga has led him to conduct classes that are a perfect blend between traditional Hatha and modern Vinyasa, with a strong focus on alignment and mindful breathing. In his classes, he strives to find the balance to challenge the mind and body.

    Madhu is from a Hindu, from a Brahmin family. Therefore, yama, niyama, and mantra chanting have been part of her daily life. She has a wide experience of practicing with the best traditonal Indian and Western yoga teachers. ​While working as a leading Ashtanga Vinyasa and yogic philosophy teacher in the teacher trainings in North America and the Indian subcontinent, she then realized how necessary it is to bring back the true meaning of what yoga really is, the perfect union between body, mind, soul and the Panchamahabhutas.

    Yesenia is an internationally trained and traveling yoga teacher from the USA. She began her yogic journey in 2000 as a way to calm her mind and anxiety through movement and meditation. In 2013, she was certified in the Sivananda yoga tradition and has since completed a variety of trainings ​with teachers like Mark Stephens, Max Strom, Shiva Rea and David Keil. Having an extensive background in the medical field as a surgical assistant and massage therapist, her love and knowledge of the human body has allowed her to dive deep into yogic anatomy.

Banjaara Yoga and Ayurveda is based in Ashvem beach, which is a beautiful beach located in the heart of north Goa and all attractions worth visiting are conveniently nearby. Mandrem beach is less than half a mile away, it’s one of the biggest and the most peaceful beaches in North Goa, perfect for a morning walk. 1.8 miles to the north from Ashvem is Arambol beach, best visited during sunset to enjoy famous drum circle and soak in the careless hippie atmosphere. For an authentic Goa shopping experience Wednesday Anjuna Flea Market and Saturday Night Market in Arpora are the places to go.

Arrival by taxi or car/motorcycle rental from Goa International Airport or Baga/Calangute area:

  • 1. From Calangute or Baga take a straight road to the north (towards Siolim)
  • 2. On the Siolim junction follow the mail road going to the left and cross Siolim bridge
  • 3. On the fork on the road about 500 meters after the bridge, take left following the sign “Morjim”
  • 4. After 2 kilometers take the right turn following the sign “Morjim V.P.”
  • 5. Continue along road for 1 kilometer until you reach a 'T' junction, take the left turn following the sign “Ashwem”
  • 6. After 1 kilometer, take the first turn right to Ashvem beach road following the sign
  • 7. After 3 kilometers you will see Wellness Inn on the right hand side of the road

Arrival by taxi or car/motorcycle rental from Arambol/Mandrem area:

  • 1. From Arambol go to Mandrem village following the Siolim Road
  • 2. One kilometer after Mandrem Market you will see a right turn after HDFC bank. Take the turn and proceed straight for about one kilometer, passing a church on your left until you reach a fork on the road
  • 3. Take the right on the fork following the sign “Ashwem Beach/Morjim”
  • 4. Continue along this road for one kilometer until you reach Wellness Inn on the left hand side
