You will be staying in shared room accommodations throughout the entire retreat. The accommodations will be located at Rainforest House in Rishikesh from November 1 to 4 and on November 9, Agra on November 5, and Vrindavan from November 6 to 8.

You will get an introduction to ten morning of Shakti Flow yoga sessions and ten-afternoon Restorative / deep Yin Yoga sessions including chakra balancing and yoga for deep healing. There will also be ten mornings with sacred circles, eight evening circles / meditations / chanting, as well as open discussions. You will be guided on your individual journey whether you have been practicing yoga for years or just beginning. The intention of this retreat is to create a safe environment for you to expand and deepen your practice and tune into your own inner knowing. 'Shakti' refers to the potent feminine energy that is said to be 'the power behind all of the creation'. You will unleash your raw creative essence and connect deeper to your feminine essence.

This retreat will be perfect for solo female travelers, mothers, sisters, wives, daughters, and friends looking for an enchanting space where the best of yoga, health, and wellness offered in a retreat setting coming together in a light-hearted and friendly environment packed with fun, laughter, and plenty of time to unwind from the pressures of life. You will enjoy and share the experience of the mother India and immerse yourself in India’s rich culture and traditions. Typical daily schedule

You will have a sunrise meditation session by Mother Ganga and Shakti Flow yoga practice in the morning.

  • 10:00 Breakfast, tea, and spare time
  • 12:00-17:00 Visit temples followed by set intentions, practice meditation inside the most sacred places and then let go, enjoy excursion, and do Goddess circles
  • 17:30 Evening Yin practice together with sound healing
  • 19:00 Dinner

Note: Anahata Conscious Living suggests you take time after dinner to sit with yourself and journal.

Itinerary

November 1, 2018

You all will arrive on November 1, 2018, and will be staying here from November 1 to 4, 2018 (4 nights' in Rishikesh).

November 5, 2018

After some meditation and yoga sessions as well as breakfast, you will start your journey to Agra and pay a visit to the Taj Mahal where you will spend a night there and an entire day to visit and explore.

November 6 to 8, 2018

You will spend your times in Vrindavan.

November 9, 2018

In the early morning, you will start your journey back to Rishikesh reached the afternoon and have some lunch and rest. In the evening, you will go for your last shopping and some free time to spend in the magic of Rishikesh. After your last Shakti dinner, you will be having a magical closing ceremony.

November 10, 2018

Sadly, this will be the departure date. Breakfast will be available and there will be yoga and meditation sessions early in the morning before dropping off to the airport.

The majority of the retreat will be in Rishikesh, India, which is the yoga capital of the world. The yoga retreat will also take places in Agra and Vrindavan.

The food is all vegetarian, vegan, (gluten-free upon request), and Ayurvedic as options. Three meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) per day will be included in the price. Meanwhile, in the traveling days, Anahata Conscious Living will bring pack lunches.
