You will be accommodated in a cozy guesthouse or family-house, with a fuss-free, quaint and serene atmosphere. Each day begins with you waking up to the beautiful sunrise, the soothing sound of the wind and the rejuvenating cool breeze.

During this therapeutic and fun journey, you will be introduced to a number of exercises, techniques, and healing practices to improve your health and general well-being.

The ancient practice of yogic breathing techniques is a form of meditation using breath control and visualizations to increase well-being and to reduce stress. In Alpesh's yoga classes, you will work on your body alignment using props for better results.

You will learn yoga postures (asanas) to obtain physical vitality, mental clarity, subtle body awareness, and correct body alignment, as well as breathing techniques (pranayama) aimed at self-healing, both physically and psychologically.

In Alpesh's yoga classes, you work on your body alignment using props for better results. Besides extensively practicing various yoga asanas, you will gain knowledge of correct body alignment and be motivated to integrate the practice of Hatha yoga into your daily routine.

The classes are strict, intensive, and filled with fun. Expect to be working hard and to leave refreshed, energetic, and with a calm state of mind. Three daily yoga classes and one breathing class will offer you the chance to get acquainted with Alpesh's teaching methods in Hatha and Iyengar style yoga and pranayama breathwork. All levels are welcome, and if you wish, you can extend your first class into one of the courses.

    Yogi Alpesh Patwari is the founder and main teacher of Alpesh Yoga School. Alpesh Patwari started practicing yoga 22 years ago to aid his own problems. He was struck with epilepsy at the age of 12 and, despite Western medicine, had to cope with depression, trembling, loss of appetite, loss of memory, and low self-esteem. His mother introduced him to the world of Bhaki yoga (worship), Karma yoga (helping people), and Gyana yoga (knowledge).

This retreat will take place at the Alpesh Yoga & Breathing Dharamsala Center.

Three daily vegetarian meals shall be provided within campus from Monday to Friday. During Saturday, breakfast is included. Additional meals during weekends are excluded.

    A total experience

    CONS Negatives: I came with very few excpectations. Not really knowing how it will be. I came out enriched from this experience physically , and maily mentally There is actually nothing that I would change . I loved every minute.

    PROS Positives: The yoga retreat with Alpesh was a wonderful experience. It was mainly so because Alpesh is a "born teacher".He was sincere,understanding,, with self respect, and also respectful. There was also a certain sense of humor and flexibilty, especially at watching each student and quickly analysing who is who and what are the needs of the person as well as the group . From the professional side I felt that I can trust him wholeheartedly . During class his clear explantions as well as personal example made me remain focused throughout the session and even surprise myself with my own achievements. Alpesh introduced me to the world of yoga in a way that was very different from what I previously thought I knew. With all respect to the physical side, It was a spiritual experience as well. I wish I could have stayed longer. Returning home I told my family and friends of this unique experience.

    "I start with Alpesh TTC in May 2017 and I'm very glad I decided to do it with him. Although it took more than 10 years practicing Iyengar yoga centers in my country as Iyengar Yoga Center of Barcelona® where students have some extra equipment and some teachers with a high level of training, can ensure that the Alpesh is an extraordinary professor. During the course, always been open to listening to all students, it is flexible yet demanding, I've never seen it leave any student hand, was open to transmit his knowledge without restriction or limit made thank you very, personally has worried the personal problems that each of his students may have had during the course apart from being a teacher was a great friend and esteem and believes that he does. Regarding practice, the style combines classic Iyengar classes typical of media (in this sense I think that would equip the center with a little more material, as good chairs Iyengar) and Flow or Vinyasa style classes, personally I loved that because it breaks the mental routine and gives a lot of variability classes. He has a great knowledge of the technique of Pranayama and we practiced on loan sequences are personalized for each student.     "I have worked with Alpesh on two separate occasions. I suffer from a long standing back problem of 18 years, and am in a lot of physical pain. Thanks to Alpesh, and his Pranayama Course I am now able relax into the pain, which helps to loosen the muscles that have become so tight over the years. Alpesh not only has a very gentle and caring heart, but he is also a very good teacher, using fun methods to help the student relax into a good state of mind from which to learn. I benefited most from the one on one intensive sessions that I had with Alpesh as he was able to focus more specifically on my individual problems. After 20 Days, my pain was a great deal less than it had been, and I was in such a relaxed state mentally, that I felt like I was floating 2 inches off the floor.     "In 2009 I met Alpesh in Bhagsu, he gave me private pranayama lessons. It made a deep impression on me, such a huge effect these simple breathing exercises gave!! When i was ready for another step in my professional life, to do more with pranayama was the first thing on my mind. I contacted Alpesh again (we kept in touch once in a while), and off I went for more training. In Bhagsu again, he convinced me to do a yoga teacher training course combined with pranayama. Wauw, that was a big step for me, a teacher training course. I enjoyed it a lot. As I worked already with older people and I wanted to use the yoga and pranayama for this group, I had a lot of questions what to do with special sicknesses, and physical and mental conditions. Alpesh composed a special program for me, with special teacher, he did everything to satisfy my needs and interests, even mantra singing classes, it was great... Alpesh is a devoted, knowledgeable and fun teacher. Personally I am practicing yoga and pranayama now everyday. This sounds like I am a fanatic, but i am not. I just feel good doing it. I am 48, yoga is for all ages. I am teaching now to people with alzheimer's disease, and more teaching is to come (the website had some delays). Writing this all down, I realize again how important Alpesh has been for me both personally and professionally. I am so happy with my new shift in career.     "I have been searching for yoga in India trying different teachers and schools for various months. When I found Alpesh I realised that he was the teacher I was looking for. Classes are tough, he is very exigent and makes you work very hard for each and every second.     "Alpesh is a very honest man, very secure of himself. That was the first thing which impressed to me. He was clear from the beginning, so I knew exactly what and how I will learn yoga from him. As I used to teach yoga before, he was open to create together a special course, according to my needs and capacities. That was perfect, because I could develop myself and go deeper in the areas that I really needed, growing in all levels of my practice. He has good sense of humor, which is nice when you are doing a demanding work, but in any case he pushed me until the end, which was great to know my limits and gain confidence in myself. Now I can feel in my body (and mind) when I am lazy or I am working properly. Off course, we are eternal students in this discipline, and we will never finish to learn, but this course is a good start.
