Guests will be welcomed at Finca San Pedro. There are different types of rooms to choose from smaller cozy rooms to spacious rooms with extra beds. The rooms are decorated in a beautiful colonial style.
For guests that would like to sleep in tents, camping facilities are available. As the weather can be a bit cold at night, you can also camp inside a spacious room made available for this instead of staying out in the garden. Hot showers, restrooms, and cooking facilities are available for campers too. For the accommodation rates in tent, please send the organizer an inquiry.
This dormitory is next to the yoga hall. It has a small semi private double room inside the dorm, three bunk beds, one double bed, and two single beds in a kind of a second floor inside the dorm. Next to the dorm, there is also a private kitchen for yoga students. Outside there are two showers and four bathrooms for the use of the persons staying in this dormitory and to be shared with guests and students who will stay in the camping side.
The hostel has different types of private rooms to choose. From smaller cozy rooms to spacious rooms with extra beds. All of the private rooms are decorated in a beautiful colonial style and if you would like a touch a modernity, you can even request a television.
This Agama Tantra workshop presents information in a modern, step-by-step approach that is well-adapted to the western mentality while also preserving the original mystique and richness of the teachings. The workshop includes many interactive elements, such as exemplifications, meditations, and initiations (energy inductions), and printed supplemental material is provided.
Videos on relevant topics are presented whenever possible. The course keeps a commitment to a clear and elevated level of communication, the teachings are guided by certified Tantra Agama teachers from different parts of the world, there are no explicit presentations or nudity whatsoever, and the workshop is open to both singles and couples.
Due to the provocative perception of Tantra, there are many myths, misinformation, and stereotypes that come along with these teachings. However, what many do not realize is that Tantra is deeply rooted in traditional Indian and Tibetan yogic teachings. This workshop includes relevant information regarding the mystery of spiritual eroticism from several traditions including yoga, Chinese Taoism, and Tibetan Buddhism.
There will be teachings from Monday to Friday on the first week, approximately six hours per day or more. Then you will have two days off to rest, Saturday and Sunday, to do all kind of other different activities like trekking, visiting colonial towns, read a good book, horse riding, visit Lago de Tota, mountain bike, yoga, meditation, massage, thermal pools, and others.
You will have the second week of the workshop, from Monday to Saturday, again approximately six hours per day, sometimes more, including Hatha yoga practice, lectures, exercises, meditations, exemplifications, documentaries, movies, and rituals.

Finca San Pedro is located on a two-hectare farm on the edge of Sogamoso and is a great place to enjoy yourself and to relax. Sogamoso is the second most populated city of the beautiful state of Boyacá, 213 kilometers away from Bogotá. It lies at 2569 meters above sea level and has an average temperature of 15 degrees Celsius. This city, also known as “the city of the sun”, is located in the middle of the spectacular region of Sugamuxi where you can find the Iraka Valley which means “great light on earth”.

You will be provided with daily breakfast. There is also a shared kitchen available for self caterers.
During your free time, Finca San Pedro offers other activities that guests can learn such as tejo, a traditional Colombian sport, and salsa, tango, or joropo dances. You may also enjoy barbecuing, fishing, relaxing in a hammock, swimming in the thermal pool, sauna, massage, and visit the vineyard nearby. Different tours and activities can be arranged at additional costs.
Whether you are an experienced fisher or it is your first time, everyone is able to join this tour. There is a guide available that can teach you how to catch trouts within the area very well. Close to the river, there is also a special fishing farm that you can visit during the tour. It is also possible to go fishing in Lago de Tota. All the fishes that you catch can be prepared at night on your barbecue.
Explore the area around different spots of the Valley of the Sun by horse. Agama Yoga can organize for you a horseback ride either near Finca San Pedro, towards Páramo de Oceta or around Lago de Tota. If you do not know know how to ride horses, the guides will help you and teach you how. For professionals, there are horses that are more difficult to ride. So, enjoy the nature and go horse riding!
Lago de Tota or Tota Lake, which is one of the most important natural reserves of the east Andes Mountains, is the highest and largest lake in Colombia. The area is also considered as a cultural and environmental heritage site by the local government.
You will start the hike at 2,300 meters and walk through a beautiful and rich tropical jungle. The walk is not hard and very pleasant. The waterfall will be reached at an altitude of 3.100 meters with an average temperature of 23 degrees Celsius. The view of the waterfall is spectacular and awesome. It will definitely fill you up with special energy and joy.
The archaeological museum of Sogamoso is a must see that preserves the majority of what remains from the Muiscan culture. In this museum you will find Muiscan mummies, clothing, pottery, jewelry, three real shrunken heads, as well as a large diversity of artifacts related to the Muiscan and other Colombian indigenous cultures.
The impressive Cascada Salto de Candelas is the second highest waterfall in Colombia. The area is considered as a cultural and environmental heritage site by the local government. Also it is one of the most important natural reserves of the east Andes Mountains. In this reserve, one of the most important rivers in the state of Casanare, the Cusiana River, is born.
At additional costs, enjoy the steam room and sauna facility in the hostels. There are also massage and body treatments available upon requests and a nearby Temazcal.
A good massage relieves stress and tension in your muscles and promotes a sense of well-being. It also relaxes you and promotes a good sleep and helps you to get rid of the pain of the body. Enjoy the massages that are given by professional women who has been specially trained. This is a perfect combination with saunas.
On a cold day, you can relax in one of the saunas available. It uses different kind of herbs along with music, herbal, aroma, and color therapy to increase the beneficial effects of the sauna. Each entrance lasts approximately ten minutes and you can have up to three in each session. You will definitely feel relaxed the session.

From Sogamoso, you can catch the bus that goes to Aquitania from the bus terminal. It should take approximately ten minutes and cost one dollar and three cents per person. Ask locals where to catch the bus and bare in mind to ask the bus driver to stop 500 meters after getting out of Sogamoso. You will see, on your left side, an arch by a palm tree and a sign showing “Finca San Pedro”.
From Bogota, once you arrive at Portal del Norte, make sure you catch a super direct bus to Sogamoso. The super direct bus from Portal del Norte should not take more than three hours and it should cost around 23 USD per person. The best bus companies are Autoboy or Los Libertadores. Ask at your hostel in Bogotá how to get to Portal del Norte.
From Bucaramanga, there are direct buses heading to Sogamoso, but they do not leave often. You can also catch a bus to Tunja and then catch another bus to Sogamoso. It should take around seven to eight hours total including the bus Tunja-Sogamoso which costs approximately 40 USD per person.
From Villa de Leyva, catch a bus to Tunja which should take around one hour. Once you arrive at Tunja, catch another bus to Sogamoso, which will take another hour. It should cost approximately 15 USD per person.
From El Cocuy, catch a bus to Duitama and catch another bus to Sogamoso which should take 20 minutes. It should take eight to nine hours in total. The cost is approximately at 30 USD per person.
From Yopal, it would more simple and straight, no need to change buses. Simply catch a bus to Sogamoso which should take around four hours and should cost around 25 USD per person,
From Sogamoso, there are plenty of taxis waiting outside the bus station. The ride will cost approximately four to five dollars (prices are usually higher at night). Most taxi drivers know where Finca San Pedro is and it takes less than five minutes to get here.
