Yoga and Movement Retreat in Spain

ViVa was created in order to help those who visit to connect with nature and increase communication between the body and mind. Far from looking for experiences that may seem esoteric or overly sweet, at ViVa, they rely on human naturalness. Unconventional body movements are capable of expanding the mind. Mindfulness meditation will open doors to unknown paths where you will find yourself calm and able to see yourself closely.

The retreat is held in a traditional Spanish home with spacious rooms & plenty of character. In the main home, there are four double rooms (that can be reserved as singles), an open kitchen with an island for cooking and gathering, a wood burning fire place, indoor and outdoor dining space, a large and comfortable living room, outdoor swimming pool, warm sauna, and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy.



14:30-16:00 Arrival

In this time slot, please arrive and settle into your rooms. The group will meet in the outdoor patio for an informal meal and to get to know each other. A photo of your face will be taken (optional), and a group game of reaction speed with a tennis ball will take place.

16:30 - Hiking climb to “Punta de la Laja“

A 2 km uphill hike where we will enjoy a forest path ideal for mountaineering, surrounded by nature. Once at the top, we are met with breathtaking views of Bolonia beach and the southern coastline. At our feet will be the home of local vultures, where we can observe the flight of these birds drawing circles over the landscape.

17:30 - Natural Stretching.

From the top of the mountain illuminated by the golden light of sunset, we will practice a stretching exercise with the help of a bamboo cane that will serve as an assistant in our exercises. *Stress tends to accumulate in the upper area of ​​our body, neck, traps and shoulders. The intention of this exercise is to unblock that tension accumulated over days, even weeks. We will end the exercise with a paired game in which we test our reflexes and elasticity.

  • 18:30 - Return to the house & free time
  • 19:30- Dinner
  • 20:30 - Mindfulness meditation sitting by the fireplace (20m)
  • 21: 00 - Bed time


  • 08:30 - One-hour fasting yoga class. Along with sunrise, the group will have a Hatha Vinyasa yoga class. The intention in this practice is to synchronize your breathing and movements.
  • 09:30 - Breakfast
  • 11:00 - Horseback ride (included in the price). More than a walk, this is a connection with nature to uncover that innate wild feeling of freedom as we ride along the rugged coastline of Bolonia beach.
  • 12:30 - Return to the retreat space
  • 13:00 - Lunch
  • 14:00- After a very full morning, we offer you several options to enjoy during your free time:
  • Sauna and swimming pool
  • Read a book and relax in the gardens of the house
  • A walk through the pine forests of Betis
  • Nap
  • 15:30 - Movement Class
  • 19:30 - Dinner
  • 20:30 - Guided Meditation (20m)
  • 21:00 - Bed Time


  • 08:30 - Morning walk to a nearby natural space with incredible views.
  • 09:00 - Yin yoga class in nature
  • 10:00 - Return to retreat space
  • 10:30 - Breakfast
  • 11:30 - Time to pack our bags, take photos
  • 12:15 - With the luggage prepared for the return home, we will say goodbye. But before we do, the group will repeat the game that was played on the first day. In this way, you can check your evolution in terms of attention and reflexiveness.

  • The food during your stay will be based on local seasonal products. Supplying as much from our garden as possible. Vegan and vegetarian options will be available.
  • This part of the experience is perhaps one of the most important. A questionnaire will be sent before the retreat and will take into account your preferences, allergies, and intolerances.
  • Three meals a day will be served on Saturday, a welcome snack and dinner provided on Friday, and a morning breakfast enjoyed on Sunday. During the outdoor activities such as hiking and horseback riding, fruit will be provided.

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

  • If possible, please book your flight to arrive at Gibraltar International Airport (GIB) which is the closest to the retreat location. Transfer from and to the airport is not included, but shorter transfers from Tarifa (10€ pp) or Algeciras (20€ pp) can be arranged.
  • Alternatively, you can book your flight to arrive at either Málaga Airport (AGP) or Seville Airport (SVQ). Transfer from and to the airport is not included, but shorter transfers from Tarifa (10€pp) or Algeciras (20€pp) can be arranged.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 36.3% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
