Anna Laurita has studied yoga since 1991. She has since lived in seven countries, such as in Asia, USA, and Latin America, and experimented with ways of peace and happiness found in each country. She is known for her powerful practice, intuitive understanding of the body, and her creative and engaging teaching style. Anna has led over 4,200 hours of yoga teacher training courses and has over 10,000 hours of teaching registered with the Yoga Alliance.

The shala is a magical place and I loved how all asana practices are taken with regular students of the shala as it provided us with hands on experience to assist and adjust during some classes. Anna is such an inspirational person and has taught us everything and more than what I had expected to learn. Cannot be thankful enough for this experience!
Perched up on a hill, you walk inside to the studio and you just know it's going to be amazing! There were so many bodies inside the space, and we moved in unison to our breath to an amazing chakra practice. Listening to the sounds of the real Mexico, with roosters, dogs, and people gently speaking, just added and topped the experience.

I have been taking yoga classes at Davanna Yoga for the past 1 1/2 years as well as a Teacher Training course. I absolutely love going to this shala. The location is amazing right down town overlooking the beautiful Banderas Bay. I look forward to going to the calming space Anna, the owner has created. As an instructor she incorporates all facets of yoga the mind and the body. She is the most knowledgeable yoga instructor I have ever had the privilege to study with.
