Join a yoga adventure and deepen your practice in a beautiful destination. Spend a weekend in the mountains in San Luis Obispo, practicing yoga, hiking, enjoying fresh food, and a little wine tasting. Apart from nourishing yourself with delicious local dishes, and taking an excursion, you can also relax by chilling in the pool or hot tub, or spending a lazy afternoon in a hammock. Moreover, the entire setting is surrounded by some awesome views that prompt meditation.
You will get two nights accommodation in a room with scenic views. Choose between a communal room with five full beds and a private room with double occupancy and single or queen-size beds.
The communal room is a shared accommodation with a sunny mountain vista. The large outside patio with gorgeous views is the ideal space for journaling, chatting with new friends, or meditating on all of Sagrada’s nature sounds. The communal room has a sitting area, plenty of cubby spaces for your personal items and yoga gear, and a large bathroom.
The private rooms with double occupancy have queen-size beds with comfy linens. Each room opens onto a spacious patio with gorgeous ranch views. The shared bathrooms are across the hall and are accented with Italian tiles, reclaimed barn wood from the property, and modern waterfall showers.
Bathrooms are cleaned daily and fresh towels are always provided. The laundry detergent is environmentally friendly, and sundrying is used whenever possible.
During this three-day California retreat, you will get to practice yoga and meditation daily, hike in the afternoons or chill in the pool, hot tub, or hammock. You will nourish yourself with organic local cuisine, and taste some wine.
Practicing yoga can lead to improved balance, flexibility, range of motion, and strength. And this means you are less likely to injure yourself in other physical endeavors or in your daily activities. Improved flexibility is one of the first and most obvious benefits of yoga. During your first class, you probably won’t be able to touch your toes. But if you stick with it, you will notice a gradual loosening, and eventually, everything you do gets easier: walking, sitting, and standing. You’ll also probably notice that day-to-day aches and pains start to disappear.
Strong muscles do more than look good. They also protect us from conditions like arthritis and back pain, and help prevent falls in elderly people. It’s well documented that weight-bearing exercise strengthens bones and helps ward off osteoporosis. Many postures in yoga require that you lift your own weight. And when you build strength through yoga, you balance it with flexibility. If you just went to the gym and lifted weights, you might build strength at the expense of flexibility.
A number of studies have shown that yoga can help reduce stress and anxiety. It can also enhance your mood and overall sense of well-being. Yoga’s ability to lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol may help keep calcium in the bones.
Yoga gets your blood flowing. More specifically, the relaxation exercises you learn in yoga can help your circulation, especially in your hands and feet. Yoga also gets more oxygen to your cells, which function better as a result. Twisting poses are thought to wring out venous blood from internal organs and allow oxygenated blood to flow in once the twist is released.
Yoga can help reduce risk factors for chronic diseases, such as heart disease and high blood pressure. Yoga might also help alleviate chronic conditions, such as depression, pain, anxiety, and insomnia.
You will have the chance to spend the afternoon on a hiking adventure trip.
Danni is a 500-hour registered yoga instructor and a member of the teacher training faculty at Yoga Tree. More importantly, he is also a real person who recognizes that he teaches real people. Danni had a tough childhood and young adult years blurred by frustration, drugs, alcohol, and a near-death brush with cancer. He credits yoga with helping him become healthy and opening his eyes to a world of positive opportunities. Danni is grateful to be able to share what he has learned, whether it is from his San Francisco home, in another location, or through his online yoga platform.

Meals are rustic yet gourmet, and are served family-style. They are prepared fresh each day with great attention to flavor and quality.
Each morning you can enjoy a cup of strong organic coffee, free range organic eggs with sprouted bread and jelly, sliced tomatoes, yogurt and homemade granola. Every afternoon sip a blend of fresh tea made with organic herbs.
