"Best retreat in Crete"
The location was amazing up a mountain. Yoga underneath a huge tree for shade was perfect. Emmanouela made sure we are all cared for and positioned correctly. She challenged us to be better every day. Which in the end we were. Stronger and happy. Thank you!

"Yoga retreat at Hotel Velani"
Yoga instructor was very attentive and I enjoyed the personalized and small classes. Although I had not intended to try horseback riding, I decided to take a lesson and then went for a beautiful two hour ride. I also enjoyed the friendly staff and safe family atmosphere, especially as I was traveling alone.

"I had the most wonderful and relaxing experience. "
Yoga, horseback riding, massage, food, friendly staff, amazing company, spectacular views,
Cannot recommend this place enough. The location was stunning, up on a mountainside and Surrounded by nature. The yoga instructor was extremely knowledgeable about lots of different types of yoga and incorporated several different styles. The classes are held on a beautiful terrace looking out into the valley. However my favourite part of my stay was the food! It is very fresh and cooked with love. I went alone and was made to feel very welcome by all the staff. I have already started recommending this place to my friends and I only left yesterday!
Different styles of yoga catering for all abilities in the most beautiful setting with the most amazing food and people. Booked to go on a horse trek through the mountains which added to the magic
Everything was great: the welcome, the food, the rooms, the pool, the horses, the instructor, the rides. My daughter (8) loved the pool, helping with the horses and such nice rides.
The hotel was beautiful My room was cleaned every day and towels changed. The food was nothing short of impeccable. I thought I had very high food standards and they brought it up even more! My room was a great size with a bath and shower plus it’s own little terrace to sit outside and enjoy the view. This small establishment is great because it is family owned and run, so they pay attention to all details and are there if you need anything! The only thing I would say is that the stables and hotel is far up in the mountain. So in order to get down to the city center to enjoy the beach or shops, you cannot take a bus and if you hitch a ride with someone from the hotel already going down to town, you have to pay a fee. This isn’t a problem for those who wish to just stay in the mountain the whole time though.
