8 Days of Yoga and Sight Seeing Retreat in Italy

Day 1

• Welcome drink and aperitivo
• Transfer from the airport of a scheduled shuttle the day the retreat starts after 2:00 PM but no later than 6:00 PM. (If you arrive early or leave late the cost will be 70 to 80 EUR on request).
• 19:00 - 20:00 First dinner at the house in Castellana Grotte
• 20:00 - 21:00 Welcome celebration enjoy the night among olive trees, under the stars while local singer will sweeten the evening with his guitar followed by celebratory limoncello and fresh fruit collected from the area.

Day 2

• Morning yoga amongst the olive trees
• Breakfast by the one and only Ernestina, who she makes from scratch the decadent croissants, by hand
• After breakfast, you may enjoy an optional travel by van to a farm in Ostuni where you will cook and taste typical Apulian products, oil, orecchiette, mozzarella, and oil soaps. (70 EUR)
• Lunch at the farm.
• 13:30 - 14:30 Nearby to the farm, you will explore the photogenic city of Ostuni and look for photo opportunities in this beautifully whitewashed, ancient Italian city. (included on the 70 EUR price)
• 16:30 You will return by van to the Villa in Castellana Grotte to enjoy an "aperitivo"
• 18:00 - 19:00 Evening yoga among the olive trees
• 19:30 Dinner. Ernestina will prepare Panzerotti, a dish that is traditional to the area and it is out of this world

Day 3

• You will have an early start this morning in order to experience a beach yoga practice at Monopoli Beach
• After, you will enjoy a delicious packed breakfast, carefully prepared by Ernestina
• Suggested mid-morning activity: Boat tour in the Adriatic Ocean with Aperitivo (50 EUR)
• 12:30 - 13:30 Lunch at the Beach Club (additional cost about 30 EUR)
• 13:30 You will explore a particularly photogenic beach and explore neighborhoods and other little shops along the way. You will be returning to Monopoli at night to walk through the narrow streets ancient buildings and rock churches.
• 14:30 Van arrives to take you back to the Villa in Castellana Grotte
• 17:00 - 18:00 Aperitivo
• 18:00 - 19:00 Evening practice among the olive trees
• 19:00 - 20:00 Van will pick you up to take you back to Monopoli to see the city at night.

Day 4

• 07:00 - 08:00 Morning practice among the olive trees
• 08:00 - 09:15 Breakfast prepared by Ernestina
• Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure or enjoy optional activities:

Visit Nadir Fitness Center, the Yoga Sauna Pilates, and relax by the pool

Book your massage (4-5 slots available for the day)

Visit Bari’s to go shopping walk through their historic buildings and monuments (60 EUR)

• 12:00 - 12:30 Lunch prepared by Ernestina
• 15:30 - 20:00 Van arrives and takes guest first to Alberobello to see the famous Trulli, a Unesco Heritage Site
• 20:00 - 21:00 Dinner in a traditional Apulian trullo enjoy the rest of the night at leisure. The streets are often filled with people, lively until 2:00 am with families, a very safe environment.

Day 5

• 07:00 - 08:00 Morning practice among the olive trees
• 08:00 - 09:15 Breakfast prepared by Ernestina
• Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure or enjoy optional activities:

Visit Nadir Fitness Center, the Yoga Sauna Pilates, and relax by the pool

Book your massage (4-5 slots available for the day)

• 12:00 - 13:30 Lunch prepared by Ernestina for those who decide to stay (packed lunch for those that go to Nadir)
• Enjoy the afternoon at leisure
• 16:00 - 17:00 Van will arrive to take us to Matera European Capital of Culture 2019
• 17:00 Gelato time enjoy the city at leisure
• 18:00 Dinner
• 19:00 - 20:00 Return to Castellana Grote
• 20:00 - 22:00 Karaoke

Day 6

• 07:00 - 08:00 Morning practice among the olive trees
• 08:00 - 09:15 Breakfast prepared by Ernestina
• Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure or enjoy optional activities:

Visit Nadir Fitness Center, the Yoga Sauna Pilates, and relax by the pool

Visit Grottes, to go shopping in Monopoli walk through their historic buildings and monuments (20 EUR)

• 15:30 - 18:00 Van arrives and takes guest to Poligiamo
• 20:00 - 21:00 Dinner at the villa

Day 7

• 07:00 - 08:00 Morning practice among the olive trees
• 08:00 - 09:15 Breakfast prepared by Ernestina
• 09:30 - 12:30 Van will arrive to take everyone to Nadir sports and wellness centre to relaxed pilates fitness activities swim in the pool massage an sauna.
• 12:30 - 13:30 Lunch at swimming pool (not included)
• 16:00 - 19:00 Van arrives to take guest visit old town Locorotondo and Cisternino
• 19:30 - 20:30 Dinner at a traditional trattoria (not included)
• 20:30 Return to Castellana Grotte

Day 8

• 07:00 - 08:00 Morning practice among the olive trees
• 08:00 - 09:15 Breakfast prepared by Ernestina
• 10:00 - 13:00 Ciao Amici! Transportation to the airport
