Located in the courtyards of the UNESCO World Heritage building, Babar Mahal Revisited, 3 Rooms by Pauline offers cozy and comfortable accommodation in the capital city of Nepal. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a minibar and a seating area. Featuring a shower, a private bathroom also comes with free toiletries. Extras include a desk and a fan. The hotel is three kilometers 700 meters from Patan Durbar Square and four kilometers 400 meters from the Pashupatinath Temple.
The Maitighar Bus Station is 500 meters away and the Tribhuvan Airport is six kilometers away. Chez Caroline, the in-house restaurant, serves regional, Indian and continental delights. Room service can be requested for in-room dining comforts. Once in Pokhara, you will be lodged in Lake view Resort. Located in Pokhara, 600 meters from Fewa Lake, Lake View Resort provides accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, a bar, and a shared lounge.
Each accommodation at the three-star resort has garden views, and guests can enjoy access to a garden and to a terrace. Teahouses are essentially small hotels found in local villages that offer both a place to sleep as well as home-cooked meals. Most rooms are shared with two small cots that have mattresses, pillows, and sheets. The walls are pretty thin so noise carries and bringing earplugs to get a good night's sleep is recommended.
After landing at the Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) in Kathmandu from your designated destinations, you will be received by a representative of the Conscious Living at the arrival gate who will then transfer you to your beautiful hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore or relax at the hotel. Evening yoga class.
Your second day in Kathmandu will start with a Kathmandu sightseeing trip and you will be taken towards Kathmandu Durbar (Palace) square, one of the heritage sites where you can view many historical and cultural monuments. Later, you will visit another heritage site known as Pashupatinath Temple. This is a sacred Hindu Temple of Lord Shiva named which is always crowded by Hindu pilgrims.
After lunch, a visit to a Buddhist pilgrimage Swoyambhunath (famous by the name of Monkey temple among tourists) will be carried forward. Likewise, Boudhanath Shrine will be covered by the evening. After concluding the sightseeing, there will be a seminar for you to attend to discuss the upcoming trekking plans. Evening yoga class. Overnight will be at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will board a tourist bus which will take you towards Pokhara, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country. During this six to seven-hour bus ride, you can see the Trishuli River along the way. You will reach Pokhara during the early afternoon hours. After lunch, you can wander around the beautiful lake city known for enthralling spectators with its superb mountain views and walk around the lakeside. Overnight will be at a hotel. Evening yoga class.
After breakfast at the hotel, yoga, and stretching, you will start your exploration towards the magnificent Ghorepani - Poon hill. You will be dropped at Naya Pul after an hour and a half vehicle ride. You will slowly but steadily start a climb towards Birethanti, a cultural town beside the Modi River. During the mid-day, you will reach Sudami followed by Hile to make the final stop of the day at Tikhedunga. Overnight will be at a lodge.
Early morning yoga and breathing exercises. This is where the fun begins. After a long previous day, you will still have to wake up early despite any concerns and after breakfast and morning yoga, the day gets going right away towards Ulleri Village. You will enjoy walking on the day’s trails as they are scenic offering amazing views of Himalayan ranges to its north. After few hours, the trails will lead you towards rhododendron and oak forests before reaching Ghorepani. Overnight will be at a lodge. The evening will be your relaxation time.
Yoga and breathing to start the day. This is the most interesting day of the trip, as you pull your socks up to hike towards Poon Hill early in the morning. The trails will lead you towards aromatic pine and rhododendron forests. You will have to pace up so that you will reach Poon Hill to witness the most spectacular sunrise view. After hiking for an hour, you will reach your first allotted destination of the day.
You can wander around the place and stretch your limbs with the magnificent sunrise view. Also, if you look to your north you will see the terrific views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Himchuli, and Machhapuchhre. You can have your morning yoga in Poon Hill itself that morning. After spending some good time at the magnificent hill, the trek heads towards Tadapani. The evening will be your relaxation time.
After morning yoga and breakfast at the lodge and leaving Tadapani behind, on the day, you will walk on descending trail towards Baisi Kharka. Crossing few streams and passing through some forests, you will reach Ghandruk, a beautiful ethnic village known for providing excellent views of Annapurna South. Overnight will be at a lodge. You will relax in the evening.
This is the last but not the least day of the trek. After your morning yoga, this is going to be an exciting day as you will have to descend almost all times to reach Nayapul, the initial place of the trek. In between the route, you will pass beautiful landscapes and grasslands. Later in the afternoons, you will reach Nayapul from where you will be picked up for a drive towards Pokhara for an overnight stay. Overnight will be at a hotel and time for relaxation.
You will drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus, today. Driving back to Kathmandu is great fun as it offers wonderful views of beautiful rivers, landscapes, and traditional villages on your way back. Upon reaching Kathmandu, Conscious Living will organize a farewell dinner at an authentic Nepali restaurant. The traditional dances and cultural shows at the restaurants would be a great opportunity to understand the Nepali culture and tradition. After dinner, you will get back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
As per your flight timings, you will be escorted by one of the representatives of Conscious Living to the international terminal at the Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) approximately three hours before your flight schedule from your hotel in Kathmandu. A day to bid farewell to the glorious country situated in South Asia. While waiting for your flight, you can make plans to venture into other destinations of the majestic country in near future.

You will be served a hotel breakfast in Kathmandu and Pokhara and meals on a full board basis on the trek with a drink at each meal included in the price. The food will be a variety of Nepali and western food as well as vegetarian and vegan if required. Because Nepal borders India, Tibet, and China, you see culinary influences from all of those countries.
India and Nepal share a love of spicy curry, turmeric, flatbreads, and rice. But unlike Indian food, Nepalese food does not use cream and rarely uses sugar, and is generally considered healthier than Indian food. Please let Conscious Living know if you have a special diet or food allergies.

Tribhuvan International Airport
Please book your flight to arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM). Once you have reserved your place with Conscious Living, they can arrange a trekking visa to be collected on arrival at the airport. Most countries (please check when booking your ticket) can get a visa on arrival in Nepal for either 30 days or 90 days.
From Kathmandu, you can either take a 30-minute flight for between 75 and 100 USD to Pokhara. This flight goes directly across the Himalayas and is a super cheap version of the scenic tour flights around. If you would like to take the scenic route through some amazing mountain ranges and rivers, take the bus.
