Saffron has practiced yoga for eight years, is a professional aerial silks performer, qualified partner acrobatics teacher, and favorite yoga and circus teacher for both kids and adults alike worldwide, from California to Nicaragua. She brings focus to the profound subtleties of the body-mind connection through the medium of magical moving play. Saffron's classes are simultaneously dynamic and slow, with interesting props (including hula hoops), dance inspired sequences, and a sprinkling of partner acrobatics and aerial inspired flows and conditioning.
Amy performed as an adagio acrobat in Australia, studied at the circus school in China, street performed in Serbia, traveled with clowns in Mexico, and practiced plenty of yoga along the way. She is a qualified partner acrobatics teacher, Sivananda yoga teacher, and co-founder of CircAsana Yoga. She teaches CircAsana Yoga at Magnific Rock in Nicaragua, where she also manages the yoga retreat program and coordinates CircAsana Yoga community circuses.

Saffron and Amy have infectious personalities that make you feel loved and warm, and make you want to try new things, and give you the confidence to try things you never thought your body could do. With their instruction, I felt like I could let go and put my body into amazing different positions, and just be silly – I think that was what a lot of it was about – just being silly.

My favorite thing was learning the silks. I didn’t know I had that skill, so it is something I want to work on.
I learnt some new techniques when it came to inversions – all the pointers and techniques really nailed it in for me.

It was a very beautiful weekend, with a lot of very powerful, strong, vibrant people. I enjoyed all the new things we’d never tried before – hula hooping classes, surfing, the fancy breakfasts, and integrating with all these faces and new friends from all over the world.

The CircAsana retreat was a super adventurous, colorful, very outdoor, energetic retreat. My favorite part was the hula yoga, because I had no idea what we were going to do, and I didn’t know how to use the hula hoop at all – at all! I had seen it at a circus show, and thought, I wish I could do that – I want to learn! Next thing I knew, I saw myself doing it. It was awesome.
