Healing Colorado Yoga Retreat

On this retreat, you will connect to true compassion through Cheryl Deer Yoga’s very own healing process. By tapping into your own fears and vulnerabilities, you connect to the parts of yourself that need healing. The healing energy you develop through your own process can then be extended out into the world through meditation, prayer, and action. By taking care of your own body, mind, and spirit, you are able to focus your energies on other parts of the world and other people that need healing in the same ways.

During this retreat, you will be staying at a beautiful lodge with mountain views. The lodge at Mount Princeton Hot Springs is one of favorite accommodations. With different configurations of 9 different rooms, you will find the amenities you are looking for and the lodge is right in the center of the area. Each room provides a mini fridge, air conditioning, Keurig coffee maker, flat screen TV, and satellite TV.

This retreat will take place at Mount Princeton Hot Springs, Nathrop, Colorado. The are located between the towns of Buena Vista and Salida. Mount Princeton Hot Springs is an ideal spot for a yoga retreat and getaway to the beautiful Arkansas River Valley to immerse yourself in nature.

During your stay, you will be given healthy meals included snacks, coffee, tea, juice, and smoothies. The menu for this retreat will be focused on paleo or primal with vegetarian options. Organic brown rice will be available for those who wish to have it, but generally the menu will be grain-minimal and potentially grain-free. The menu will also be as organic as possible and crafted with special attention paid to potential allergens of Chef Michael Cleveland. The food will be prepared with Ayurvedic principles as freshly as possible and with mindful attention to preserving the vital energy.

Driving directions from Denver Highway 285

  • Please take Highway 285 out of Denver through Fairplay.
  • After Fairplay, you will go about 34 miles to the town of Johnson Village.
  • Continue south on Highway 285 towards Salida.
  • You will go 5.5 miles to Nathrop.
  • You will see a sign that says Mount Princeton and Saint Elmo.
  • You are on County Road 162, then turn right.
  • Mount Princeton Hot Springs is located 4.5 miles on the left side of the road.

Driving directions from Denver Interstate 70

  • Take Interstate 70 West to the Copper Mountain or Leadville exit (Highway 24).
  • Take Highway 24 through Leadville and Buena Vista going south towards Salida.
  • You are now on Highway 285.
  • Pass Johnson Village, it is 8 miles to Nathrop.
  • You will see a sign that says Mount Princeton and Saint Elmo.
  • You are on County Road 162, then turn right.
  • Mount Princeton Hot Springs is located 4.5 miles on the left side of the road.

Driving directions from Colorado Springs

  • Take Highway 24 to Johnson Village.
  • At the stop sign, turn south on Highway 285, then go south towards Salida.
  • Continue for 5.5 miles to Nathrop and you will see a sign that says Mount Princeton and Saint Elmo.
  • You are on County Road 162, then turn right.
  • Mount Princeton Hot Springs is located 4.5 miles on the left side of the road.

Arrival by airplane

You may arrive at Denver International Airport (DEN). Afterwards, a shuttle from the airport to Mount Princeton Hot Springs can be arranged at an additional cost.
