Dragonfly Village, Ubud (four days)

Only footsteps away from center Ubud, but tucked away from its hassles and bustles, the beautiful eco-boutique Dragonfly Village offers the best of both worlds. Their gorgeous cottages' structure are mostly recycled wood and traditional antique teak houses brought over and lovingly restored from remote villages in Java. They focus their energy on living simply and consciously within an organic environment.

Their century-old antique bungalows, original wooden houses brought over from remote villages in Java, decorated with beautiful carvings, 100% recycled teak wood. All balconies are facing the rice fields, with its own private outdoor garden. They encourage conscious living so rooms are equipped with ceiling fan, there is no air conditioners in all the bungalows as Ubud is slightly cooler at night anyway.

Each bungalow has an attached mud-wall bathroom, passion fruits, and vines climbing over the natural roof, semi-open to the nature. Hot shower is available. All rooms are supplied with natural organic shampoo, soap, and insect repellent. The beds and furniture are specially designed, made from recycled wood plough, which the farmers used with the buffaloes to plough the rice fields before. Twin beds and king size bed can be arranged in each room. They believe in creating an organic environment for best rejuvenating sleep.

Mao Meno, Gili Meno (seven days)

Mao Meno is a beautifully hand-crafted eco-retreat at the heart of the Gili Meno Island, built entirely from reclaimed and natural materials.

Yoga with Steffy White

Steffy's beautifully balanced teaching suits this retreat approach perfectly. Leading twice daily yoga asana sessions, with a Dynamic flow focus in the morning and Yin in the evening, her nurturing yet challenging practice is always delivered with a smile. Alongside the physical practice, guests can experience breath practice (pranayama) and guided meditations. The focus of this retreat is awaken. Your practice will connect you on every level to all parts of yourself, clearing a way for new beginnings, and awakening your inspirational connection to your highest wisdom and best sense of well-being.

Well-being raw food workshop with Lucy Hill

Lucy will teach a well-being food workshop, enabling guests to leave armed with inspiring, easy tips to integrate the retreat experience into their daily lives.

This package includes a day trip to a local spiritual healer and some of Bali’s incredible water temples in Ubud and a one-day trip to Lombok waterfalls.

She offers unique recipes and teachings on how to make delicious food feel even better in the body than it tastes. Lucy Hill and her team, also known as Chaya Kitchen, can cater for all events, tastes, and dietary requirements for individual and private dining and from small groups through to massive parties.

Ubud, Bali

You will begin your journey in Ubud, Bali’s yoga home and creative island hub. This bustling and beautiful town is just a few moments walk away from your home for the first four days, the beautiful eco-boutique Dragonfly Village. They are surrounded by lush gardens, streams and natural pools, set amongst tranquil vibrant paddy fields, with a panoramic skyline of dramatic and sacred distant volcano, Mount Agung. Surrounded by dragonflies by day and and fairy-like fireflies filling the air at night, this enchanting place is straight out of a fantasy tale.

Gili Meno

Next, you will spend an afternoon at sea as you speed boat to Gili Meno, the smallest of the show-stopping Gili Islands. The Gilis are an archipelago of three islands, close to the larger island of Lombok. These tiny islands are beyond stunning. With no cars on any of the Gilis, transport is solely by horse and cart, boat, or foot. And by which, it will take you a mere 1.5 hours to walk around Meno. Bathed in nature, this is a unique and deeply peaceful slice of island paradise.

During this retreat, you will be served two daily meals. Chaya's Lucy Hill or Chaya Kitchen will co-curate the menus throughout the trip, which will be delicious, highly nutritious, and with a focus on integrating a raw food aspect to the tasty local Balinese and Indonesian recipes. You will also be served herbal teas and coconut water in the mornings. Drawing from naturopathic principles and utilizing the incredible tropical local ingredients, expect fresh, high vibration meals, which will leave you feeling light and bright, cleansed, and awake.

In Ubud

In Ubud, you will have time to explore the delights of Ubud at your leisure, where you will find plenty of opportunity to shop for the island's unique handicrafts and local art. You can also get a crazy-good Balinese massage and just hang in a hammock, dip in the salt water pool, and watch the sunset from your balcony.

In Gili Meno

Alongside the juicy yoga flows and delicious tropical feasts, you are invited to bask in the sunshine or swim the crystal coral reefs with the local turtles. And if that is all too much, just wander this tiny, perfect paradise under the boughs of the palm trees. This is the epitome of a desert island dream, you are guaranteed that you will not want to leave.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS). Transfer from and to the airport is included. Chaya Yoga Retreats will pick you up from the airport.
