Daily itinerary

  • Arrive at Chandra Ban Retreat and settle in
  • 18:00 Yoga session in the yoga hall
  • 19:00 Vegetarian dinner in the dining room

Next day

  • 08:00 Warm-up/wake up yoga
  • 09:00 - 10:00 Vegetarian breakfast in the garden (weather permitting)
  • 10:15 Set off on the hike for Kopan Monastery - about 2.5 hours walking along the ridge, through the forest and a short part on the road at Kopan Hill
  • 12:30/13:30 Picnic lunch or lunch at Kopan Monastery
  • 14:30 Jeep back to Chandra Ban
  • 19:00 Vegetarian international dinner

Next day

  • 09:00 Continental breakfast in the garden (weather permitting)
  • Walk to sleeping Vishnu Temple/relax in the garden and check out at your convenience

Located directly under the Shivapuri National Park. It is just 35 minutes drive from the Center of Kathmandu and 20 minutes walk to the Sleeping Vishnu Temple of Budhanilkantha.

Direct the taxi to Budhanilkantha in the North of Kathmandu. Call for directions or ask for a map - about 10 minutes drive from the Sleeping Vishnu Temple.

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 15% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
