You will enjoy intense tranquility all day at all times and breathtaking sunsets over uninterrupted mountain views. Chalet Rosière’s wild location, combined with its easy access to the incredible resort of La Rosière, makes it a perfect location for ski yoga retreats and adventure experiences of every kind.

Chalet Rosière is a sanctuary. It has six luxury bedrooms, an explorer’s banqueting area and lounge with an open fireplace, esoteric library, a heated boot room, a treatment room, a sauna, and an outdoor Jacuzzi with sunset mountain views. This chalet has a meditation tipi and yoga classes will take place in a mountain-view yoga studio with its own open fireplace.

The team includes a talented chef who is committed to serving low impact, detox vegan cuisine, and a masseuse and holistic therapy expert, who specializes in reflexology and craniosacral therapy. Your every need will be taken care of by this dedicated team of staff. At Chalet Rosière, they run a number of full moon yoga experiences throughout the year.

They love the magic that is created when a group of people come together with a commitment to their own personal well-being and to learn a new skill. Chalet Rosière hopes they can share some of that magic with you in the years to come.

Morning yoga and meditation will warm up key muscle groups and wake up the mind, bringing everything into clarity so that you can enjoy a bold and focused day on the slopes.

The evening yoga will concentrate on deep stretching to release muscle soreness and to capture the benefits of the day's skiing or snowboarding. "Without doubt, the finest Skiing holiday we've ever had. To call Chalet Rosiere a home away from home is an understatement. Comfortable beds in beautifully appointed en suite rooms, a gorgeous lounge with an open fire, library and huge DVD collection (perfect for unwinding in the evening) and of course the hot tub with incredible views over the mountains. We were blessed with the weather, but more so with the access to a number of world class resorts all within a few minutes drive; not to mention Philip (himself a world class skier) who knows them all like the back of his hand and always pointed us in the right direction. A five star holiday, we look forward to coming back next year!"

"The rooms are delux, the fires roar, and it's blissfully peaceful being tucked away behind a traditional french village with lovely forests to disappear into. This is the kind of place you can spend a week at and not ski! Though the skiing is great and caters for all levels. Chalet Rosiere has been built on foundations of love and charm, and at the end of the day there is nowhere you would rather be than with your feet up in the bubbling hot tub soaking up the 180 degree mountain vista and sipping a cold beer. Get me back!"

"We ran a number of winter snow and summer alpine yoga retreats at Chalet Rosière. What can I say! A stunning location with draw dropping views of the Tarantaise valley, luxurious bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a cosy living space so you felt at home and a fantastic team to look after us. Philip Volkers with his exceptional knowledge of the local area made us all feel well and truly looked after on the piste and off. A must for anyone looking for a relaxing yet invigorating (and pampered!) mountain adventure!"

"Our hosts looked after us extremely well, always ready to help. For experienced skiers, Phillip made a fantastic guide and he knows the mountains and all-important pit stops like the back of his hand. Our chef cooked us delicious vegetarian meals, a different treat each day. The yoga was well taught and easy to follow and what better place to practice it in by an open fire overlooking the mountains."

Life feels recalibrated and more whole for it. A better way to live for sure. Delicious vegetarian food, comfortable beds, and great company."

"Absolute Magic! What a great idea, and very well executed. The teacher Kelly was brilliant, clearly, a lot of thought went into picking the right instructor. The sessions were well timed and the full moon ceremony was great! Really wonderful."

"Yoga, hot tub, and massage were the perfect combinations to relax and recover on a daily basis during my first week of skiing! It wouldn’t have been the same without the friendly thoughtful team. The team is the wrong word, they are more of a temporary mountain family."

"Ten of us had an absolutely magical time in Chalet Rosiere! The snow was fantastic. In fact, there was so much that we took a day off to walk through the Narniaesque forest adjacent to the chalet! The hot tub lived up to its name and with an excellent masseuse readily available neither we nor our muscles had any complaints. Also wonderfully comprehensive book and DVD libraries to satisfy those lazy moments. Highly recommended!"

"The early morning starts were welcomed with the beautiful blue light of the snow shimmering in the mornings, with pink tipped mountain tops, purple skies with a full moon beaming, absolutely perfect to be welcomed into the library room, with warm heated floor and a crackling fire to start our morning meditations, and with gentle stretches to wake us for the day ahead on the mountain! With bright sunshine with us all day to light up our way on the slopes, to return to a bubbling hot tub to ease those tired muscles, and perfect Moon salutations to end the day. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect day actually. Thank you for giving us a whole week of pure heaven. "

"Thanks to the ingenious combination of daily yoga with the exceptionally talented Laura of Love Lemon Tree, exquisite vegetarian cuisine, complimentary therapies, and a few surprises. I have never felt fitter, stronger, and more balanced. Relaxing under the stars in the outdoor hot tub, with a glass of bubbly was an added bonus! "

"We had an amazing week here in January so much snow we even had to have a day of skiing and go discover the lovely walks around the Chalet. The location is perfect for all levels of skiers as there are so many resorts to choose from. We loved going over to Italy for pizza and skiing in the woods in Sainte Foy. The chalet is so homely and beautifully decorated. You really do feel well looked after and couldn't want anything more. Stacks of hot water, huge comfy sofas, and lovely fires. The little village is so charming and it makes such a difference not being in town. Pure luxury. We will definitely be back!"

"Une merveilleuse semaine passée à Chalet Rosière pour fêter les 70's de Minou. Pas besoin de parler anglais pour profiter du luxe montagnard qu'offre cet endroit magique. Philip maîtrise le Franglais couramment. Malta et Merlin ont eu le coup de foudre. (french kisses only, they are too young!!). On repart avec des images plein la tête: images vivantes du paysage, du chalet ET photos prises par Philip. Heaven on earth... Paradis terrestre MERCI à Alex et Philip Le petit plus non écolo mais tellement bon, le jacuzzi sous la neige!"
