Are you a massage therapist, someone who is interested in to develop in this direction, or a yoga teacher looking for a develop of knowledge? This Thai massage yoga course, which is combined with yoga classes, is perfect for you! You will be learning about traditional, northern-style Thai massage in a stunning villa in Bali, and upon completion, you will receive a certification from one of the best schools, International Training Massage (ITM) School in Thailand.
During this retreat, you will be staying at a luxurious Villa, designed by renowned Dutch architect Osiris Hertman. This villa is the perfect place to enjoy Bali while staying in a typical area only 15 minutes from the center of Seminyak or from the beach. Light-filtering gaps have been incorporated in various areas, where even entire trees now flourish.
The unique aspect of the villa is the logo in the abstract shape of a tree, which was designed especially for the villa. It was made in relief, and is visible throughout; in the posts around the bed, the pillars in the patio, the handles of the shutters, and even on the silver key ring for the front door. This villa is 300 square meters and it has a lot of natural light coming from the large windows surrounding the rooms.
From almost every room, you can enjoy a beautiful view onto the beautiful lush green rice field. Every bedroom comes along with ensuite bathroom, air-conditioner, and television. The living area is a huge open-space with high volumes, featuring an amazing sofa facing a large-screen television, a fully-equipped kitchen, and an eight-seat table.
At the ground floor, two ensuite bedrooms with stunning bathrooms offer a great comfort. The first floor features two ensuite bedrooms with a beautiful view on the rice fields. You will have access to the pool and garden by a path on a pond. You can enjoy two large chill-out areas, either at the bale or the sofa.
During this course, you will learn about Nuad Bo-Rarn (traditional Northern style) Thai massage. Nuad Bo-Rarn Thai massage is a unique form of body therapy that incorporates Hatha yoga, reflexology, and acupressure. Thai massage is one of the ancient healing arts of traditional Thai medicine (along with herbal medicine and spiritual meditation). It is a full-body massage, performed on a professional Thai massage futon, with both parties in loose, comfortable clothes.
Thai massage incorporates Tai chi moves, rhythmic motion, palming and thumbing along energy lines (Sen lines), gentle stretching, and the conscious use of breath. Gentle pressure and compression are used to stimulate internal organs, relax tense muscles and calm the nervous system. Passive stretching adjusts the skeletal structure, increases flexibility, and restores movement.
Traditional Nuad Bo-Rarn Thai massage is performed on a mat on the floor. It allows for the most effective use of the practitioner's body weight rather than muscular force for the transmission of pressure, force, or energy, which creates a highly therapeutic effect.
After completing the course and passing the examination, you will be awarded a certificate of International Training Massage (ITM) School in Thailand, Chiang Mai. The school is accredited by Thailand Ministry of Education, approved by Ministry of Public Health, and recognized and approved internationally by many professional colleges and associations for continuing education in the regulated healthcare field.
Many luxury five stars hotels and resorts have chosen ITM School to train their spa staff in healing art of ancient Thai massage. ITM has over 16,000 graduates representing 140 countries, and many varied walks of life from a novice to the highly-trained professional. Because of the different cultures, the students have the opportunity to gain a greater understanding of the world and to build a lifelong friendship in all corners of the globe.

Afterwards, you will have five hours Thai massage course, including theory, lesson, demonstration, and practices.
