Join this retreat for a week of yoga, relaxation, and exploring Provence. Still your mind with daily meditation, strengthen your body practicing yoga, and use your free time to visit markets, cycle through the countryside, and see sites that have been around since Roman times. Mormoiron is a stunning pocket of Provence and a natural setting for a retreat: the air is clean, the sun is warm, and there is inspiration everywhere. Domaine des Anges is a hilltop vineyard that will be your home for the week. There will be opportunities to learn about wine, do tastings and maybe even pick grapes! Since the sun is still warm in late September, you may choose to lounge by the pool. It's your choice: this is your time to recharge and relax.
Domaine des Anges, rich in history and surrounded by beauty, is one of the most prominent and respected vineyards in the Ventoux. is situated in the middle of 40 hectares of vineyards, cherry orchards, olive groves and private woodland, with spectacular views on all sides. If a break from tranquility is required, there are fetes, carnivals and markets in ancient villages nearby. And Avignon, Chateauneuf du Pape, Gordes, Roussillon and Orange are all within an hour’s scenic drive. The Mecca for cyclists, Bedoin, where routes up Mount Ventoux begin, is only 10 minutes away.
Working as a registered massage therapist for 15 years was an education for Cathy. She likes to integrate that knowledge into the sequence of each class and use it while guiding the practice. She likes to think that her creative experiences enhance the awareness of student's movement patterns in class. Everyone brings a different set of experiences with them that impact every aspect of their being. She is so grateful for the wonderful teachers who have shared their wisdom; Baron Baptiste, Sarah Powers, Paul Grilley, Ana Forrest, Patrick Creelman, and incredible teachers in Vancouver and afar.
Please book your flight to arrive at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) or to Marseille Provence Airport (MRS). From there get the TGC train to Avignon. This is the pick up point.
