"I have seen Utopia and it's a secluded piece of Heaven near Punta Banco Costa Rica. Perfect set up literally a stones throw from the ocean with the most amazing landscape called the Rainforest! Natural jungle surroundings for observing wildlife right in your own backyard. Not to mention a beautifully built Yoga deck at our disposal. This was an adventure from the start thanks to the hospitality and helpful planning from Beth and Clyde who were amazing hosts. I can't say enough about these two they go above and beyond. They make you feel at home and go to great lengths to accommodate your every need. The meals they prepared were delicious and the fruit comes fresh from their own backyard rain forest how cool is that! The accommodations were very comfortable, roomy and so relaxing. The wildlife is there right in front of you everywhere you go. We encountered monkeys, macaws, toucan, aquati (racoon like animals), agouti (never heard of these either) and many other animals. The people here are so warm and friendly. There's surfing, horseback riding, paddle boarding, hiking and nature walks. You can surf just outside your front door or go to nearby Pavones which is one of the most desired surf spots in the world. I loved it here so much I married my sweetheart here and came back the following year! What does that tell you. For me it's the peace and connection with nature. We forget what its like to totally unplug and leave your worries behind and this is the place to do just that. Yoga with Beth was the perfect way to start the day especially when your greeted by squirrel monkeys and such a variety of birds. The guided nature hike through the jungle with Clyde was one of my favorites and I appreciate his knowledge of the rain forest. We encountered a family of white faced monkeys and watched them play and groom each other. It's like living an episode the Discovery channel. Casa Marea Alta is the perfect place to get in touch with a reality you can only dream about. When your surrounded by Rain Forest on the Pacific ocean you can't help but move into a higher vibration! Thank you Beth and Clyde for the most amazing experience! You guys rock!"

"I planned this vacation on a whim and it was the best trip ever! Beth and Clyde were the most generous hosts. They respected my privacy and made sure I felt like I was home. They had activities planned every day. We went on hikes where we saw waterfalls and beautiful wildlife and ate fruits straight from nature. They took me into town when I needed groceries and also taught me how to cook local cuisine, which was awesome since I love to cook. Beth and Clyde also educated me about the Costa Rican culture and helped me with my Spanish when talking with the locals. I was full of questions and they answered all of them in a very enthusiastic manner. You can clearly see they love Costa Rica and want people to be able to experience this beautiful land. Thanks Beth and Clyde for an awesome week! I will be back again! Lastly, the trip was so memorable I got a tattoo in remembrance of my experience."

"This place is lovely. Peaceful town, friendly people, beautiful nature, and sweet air. When you get used to the weather, you don't wanna leave. The house is very near to the beach. Clyde and Beth are great host. Clyde is a perfect guide to this region. Besides Spanish, he also speaks fluent English. He is very knowledgeable and always willing to help with our needs and give great suggestions. We had a jungle tour with him. It was wonderful! We saw plenty of wildlife. There are small restaurants nearby which cook delicious, natural, and healthy meal. We definitely loved the food. Honestly, we begin to miss here already. It's far but it's worth the time! Wish this beautiful area and the lovely people here the best!"

"Beth and Clyde were the perfect hosts. The two are super nice and did everything to make this vacation as nice as can be. Clyde knows a lot about the local plants and animals and was eager to explain on a three hour tour through the jungle. He helped with everything from giving us a ride to the supermarket to showing us how to open the coconuts we collected along the beach. The room is in great shape. Everything is very clean; from the beds to the shower to the kitchen. The lodge is located in a beautiful garden, with the beach right across the street. Pura vida!"
