You will explore cooking techniques and the fascinating kitchen myths of this unique culture followed by a lavish Balinese feast and complete recipes.The Casa Luna Cooking School classes will provide a fascinating insight into Balinese life, beliefs, and culture through learning about its food, cooking, and culinary myths.
Class discussions will be relaxed and friendly. It will be held in the elegant grounds of the Second Honeymoon Guesthouse. They include specific references to the role of food in Balinese society, its ceremonial use, and religious importance. You will learn about the exotic herbs and spices used in ceremonial and everyday Balinese dishes. You will also be encouraged to actively help prepare the lavish Balinese feast that will then be enjoyed with a glass or two of the local rice wine or homemade hibiscus tea.

Janet runs Casa Luna Cooking School where happy tourists and others are taught the secrets of Balinese cooking.
Ketut Sukrata has been practicing yoga since 1997. In 2002, he was invited to become a member of a yoga society and commenced teaching yoga. In 2005, he received his Diksha qualification and Sanskrit name.
Ketut Gina studied yoga at the Ananda Marga Foundation in Bali. He has been teaching yoga for 7 years and is based at the Bagus Jati Resort.
This yoga retreat will be held at Honeymoon Guesthouse. It is situated only a five-minute walk away from the heart of Ubud and Casa Luna Restaurant.
During this retreat, you will be served a 2-course dinner at Indus Restaurant under the stars. If you would like to have breakfast, you can go to Honeymoon Guesthouse Rooftop Cafe at an extra cost. A surcharge 50,000 IDR will be added if you want it to be delivered to your room.
The breakfast will include fresh tropical fruit, homemade yogurt, and freshly baked pastries and bread from The Honeymoon Bakery. You may also order delicious meals from the extensive menu of the Casa Luna Restaurant that offers a fine selection of Balinese and Mediterranean dishes.
You will be pampered with one spa treatment. This will allow Casa Luna Bali's trained beauty therapist to transform you into a gracious goddess. You can also choose another kind of treatment at an extra cost, such as traditional Javanese lulur, Balinese boreh spice ritual, aromatherapy facial, anti-aging facial, tension reliever, Swedish massage, Lomi-Lomi massage, foot reflexology massage, aromatherapy massage, reflexology massage, or stone massage.
You can get a taxi from the arrivals bay. The journey usually takes about an hour, depending on the traffic.
