    Yoga is an ancient Indian philosophy and practice that dates back thousands of years. The foundation of yoga is a series of structured poses linked with your breathing. The benefits of regular practice include increased fitness and lower levels of stress and anxiety.

    Researchers have discovered that the regular practice of yoga may produce many health benefits, including increased fitness and normalization of blood pressure. Yoga is a renowned antidote to stress. Over time, yoga practitioners report lower levels of stress and increased feelings of happiness and well-being.

    There is no age limit on who can do yoga. Forget the images you may have seen in magazines of yogis in impossibly bendy poses. The aim of yoga is not necessarily to get you into pretzel shapes, you will be starting your practice gently and will be guided on how to do the postures safely with correct alignment so that you can take this improved posture, alignment, and better breathing back into your everyday life.

    Many of you are searching for ways to improve your quality of life and remain active as you enter our mid-life and even later years. Yoga can transform the years after 50 from a time of deterioration to one of increased agility and well-being.
