Annalisa Raghunandan

Annalisa's classes are designed for the absolute beginner, yogis, dancer's aspiring to cross train in another art form, or anyone simply seeking dance as a form of fitness, fun, and overall personal development. Her passion and abilities are accredited to her teachers and a dedicated, ritualistic personal practice that includes cross training with African dance and urban street styles. She has a deep connection with nature along with a sound understanding of where real food comes from and how to produce it using sustainable methods.

Alexandra Sirocki

Anahata Yoga (Kundalini Yoga)

Inner Vision Yoga (Nidra Yoga)

Alexandra's motto is, ‘Heal yourself, heal the planet’. To her, yoga brought an inner discovery of the self, her true self, and was a stepping-stone that sparked the path of becoming a teacher and spreading the message of natural healing and wellness to the planet. Believing that all have the ability to heal one's self, she guides her students to be present within their own practice, to find the light within, and to reestablish that connection with ones true divinity.

Justine Lordo Kittel

Justine is a graduate of F.I.T, and a gifted, accomplished painter with numerous sold out art shows. In 2015, she received a generous grant from Staten Island Arts which allowed her to create a piece fusing her love for art with yoga. In the piece, entitled, Connections: Art through Movement, Justine created a 6’ by 10’ painting through the medium of asana, dance, meditation, and personal expression performed at Lumen, an outdoor art festival in NYC.

Rin Ajna

Rooted in twenty years of diverse dance training, Rin has experimented with jazz, ballet, contemporary, hip hop, and several fusion dances, creating a dynamic experimental movement style that is most often described as "otherworldly." She has performed extensively as a soloist and has choreographed and performed internationally with the theatrical production Bellydance Evolution. Rin is also the creative director of Myriad, a dance project set to original music and choreography, featuring performances by artistically diverse casts of dancers.

Camp Belly Dance was such a great, life changing experience for me. Not only was it a place for belly dance, but it was also a place for nature, wellness, positive growth, healing, and other beautiful things that make you want to stay forever! The teachers and the other campers were very nice. We all had a great connection. It was so much fun. I felt like I was living and dancing in heaven or paradise!!!! I look forward to returning next summer!

Camp Belly Dance saved my life, and I'm not exaggerating. I was going through a serious depression at the time, on top of the stress that occurs when traveling internationally. When I got there, all of my worries and anxiety melted away. Not only was the landscape majestic, Annalisa and Alexandra were the greatest hosts. They were super accommodating, and really catered to our experience. It felt like a fun sleepover, but it was also spiritually transformational. Through the experience, I learned to not only accept myself, but embrace who I am, as I am, in my current life and body. The activities were healing, fun, and I learned things that I brought back home to my everyday practice. I recommend CBD to anyone who is in need of healing, as well as to enhance your skills in both yoga and belly dance. The two go hand in hand. The location and natural sites are breath taking. You will totally get your moneys worth, plus more!!

For my first retreat, Camp Belly Dance was the perfect amount of meditative and physical wellness. We had an amazing group of girls to learn from and build with. The teachers were also so talented, helpful, and nurturing. They offered everything from belly dancing to sound healing, yoga, hiking, spa treatments and more. The program was well planned with beautiful accommodations, great food, fun and super inspiring souls. I left feeling refreshed and recharged and can't wait for the next opportunity. Thank You CBD for hosting such a great experience for all of us.
