Join Camino Surf Camp Morocco on an adventure at one of the most consistent and least crowded surf-spots in Morocco, Sidi Ifni. When the first decent low pressure systems arrive over the northern Atlantic and send cold and grey weather over Europe, it is time to follow the waves and the sun southwards to Morocco, the "kingdom of the west". Starting the day with yoga classes, you will be prepared, pumped up and ready to handle the untamed surf. Alternatively, you can opt to end the day with yoga to stretch out weary muscles and invigorate yourself. Besides the cultural diversity, the unmatched hospitality of the locals and their delicious cuisine, this place was chosen mainly because of two things: waves and weather.
An average of 330 days of sun per year with mild temperatures and very consistent waves between November and April are valid and sound arguments for exchanging winter's frost for summerlike wave-experience. Perfectly peeling point-breaks for the advanced surfer and convenient beach breaks for the beginner - with water temperatures around 20 degrees - that is winter in Morocco.
Camino Surf Morocco's Beach Hotel is located directly on the beach of Sidi Moussa d'Aglou. There are single-rooms, doubles and triples available, alternatively with ocean or with landscape-view. Each room is equipped with its own bathroom (with European-style toilets), satellite-TV and telephone. WLAN is available in the Surf camp-lounge.
Only a footstep from the door sill and you are standing in the middle of Aglou Plage, a long and sandy beach. From the big terrace you check the waves in the mornings and enjoy the sunset from the comfortable lounge while having a barbecue and a cold beer in the evenings. Just within minutes you are in the line-up either in front of the hotel or you give the surrounding breaks a go.
To lessen your effort in planning and price gathering or canvassing, Camino Surf has put together everything that is on offer in their surf camp in Morocco. With the no-worries package, you only need to surf, eat and sleep. You will stay in one of their comfortable three-bed rooms, indulge in their Culinario Package and take part in one of their 5-day surf courses.
Yoga starts your day with more energy and be stronger in the water. After the surf-sessions you relax and sooth your tense and tired muscles during your extended yoga sessions. You put your body and mind to rest and as your nose gets rid of the last nose-drippings, you are mentally and physically ready for the next wave.
About 80 kilometers south of Agadir you will find the Camino Surf camp in the small beach village of Sidi Moussa d'Aglou - a surfer's dream come true. Next to the very consistent beach-break on the doorstep of their hotel, there are plenty of reef-breaks in close proximity to be discovered. Two kilometers north, a reefy point-break awaits the brave. Well known spots like Tifnit, Mirleft and Oued Massa are within 30-minute driving distance away. Even if the swell's pumping and the waves are firing, there are no crowds in the water. That is why here it is all about surfing and relaxing!

If you fly into Marrakesh Menara Airport (RAK), your best bet is to take the airport-bus to the SUPRATOURS-Bus-Station. From there, take a SUPRATOURS-Bus to Agadir. The price is about 100 MAD (around 9.50 EUR) and takes about 3 to 4 hours. Make sure to ask for a bus going on the motorway ("via auto-route") - the other one takes about 6 to 7 hours.
The low-fare option to get from Agadir to Aglou is by one of Morocco's famous Grand Taxis. Get a Grand Taxi from Agadir to Tiznit (around 50 MAD or 4.50 EUR) and another one from Tiznit to Aglou Beach (around 5 MAD or 4.50 EUR).
