Sea view room is a spacious, elegant room with views of the ocean and Dominica’s stunning red rock coastline. Hardwood louvered doors open to expansive balconies surrounded by nature. Large windows make for an outstanding view and superb breezes. It has queen bed, full futon, stone and solid wood finishes. These rooms include a mini-refrigerator and coffee maker for your comfort.
The Penthouse has panoramic views from 1,500 square feet of open plan and a full kitchen. King-sized bed, full futon, large private wraparound balcony with ocean views from three sides, and a plunge pool with a view. Additional private rooftop balcony.
The Rainforest suite is a large, comfortable suite with over 1000 square feet of living space, vast patio with outstanding ocean and coastal forest views. King-sized bed plus a full futon, kitchenette, massive walk-in closet, and ample privacy. The Rainforest Suite is air-conditioned.
The Garden Sea View room has a refreshing private balcony with a lush garden/forest view and a view to the sea and as well. Queen bed, full futon, stone and solid wood finishes. This room includes a mini refrigerator and coffee maker for your comfort.
There will be a morning yoga class for 3 days. You will learn proper exercise, breathing, relaxation, diet, and positive thinking. After the yoga class, you may take a tour of the Caribbean Kalinago Indian village or a guided hike to waterfalls (at additional charge). There will a wholesome breakfast served daily. You may also take an experiential journey during your stay to choose fresh grown produce from the on-site garden.
Dominica, also known as "‘The Nature Isle", is a small dramatic mountainous island in the West Indies formed by nine volcanoes covered in thick lush rainforest and fertile farms; scored by clear fast flowing waters tumbling to the sea, caressed on one side by the Caribbean sea and molded on the other by the Atlantic Ocean.
Cove offers a feeling of true immersion in nature while being conveniently close to the village of Calibishie and only a short drive from Dominicas airport, Douglas Charles. Gentle sea breezes and ocean views envelop you during your stay. A riot of colorful hummingbirds dance in the garden while you enjoy complimentary breakfast on your balcony.
Calibishie Cove offers some of the best food in Dominica. Experience a true enjoyment of Dominica culture as their all-Dominican staff takes care of you. The kitchen team offers a full dinner menu of delectable local dishes prepared in our on-site kitchen and will serve you breakfast with the hummingbirds or dinner under the stars.
Packed to-go boxed lunches are available for your days out exploring. Nightly specials are always available, as well. Stocking of rooms with grocery items can also be arranged for a nominal surcharge.
The opportunities to Immerse in nature abound on this island. Activities available are visit to both, beige and black sand beaches, river pools, natural hot pools, bubbling cold sulfur springs, tumbling waterfalls, one of the world's only boiling lakes, and hiking trails crisscrossing the entire island.
Agricultural tours also available include chocolate production, organic herbs, and roots rasta farms. You may also snorkel with sea horses and turtles in the warm waters off the near-empty Hodges beach, arrange a picnic lunch in spiny lobster, borrow one of the hotels kayaks, or head to Treasure Island, an uninhabited islet located just 10 minutes away.
There is also an impressive range of health and wellness providers to call on: experience forest bathing; massage; yoga and a choice of natural hot pool spas.
