On this retreat, you will stay either in shared room with bunk beds or private room. Cal Pau Cruset is made up of a main building and three smaller houses.
The houses are fully equipped, each with private bath and kitchen, have a private balcony with panoramic views, and patio or garden. The houses are bright and airy, decorated in a comfortable and welcoming way, giving a nice Mediterranean flavor. Below is the list of houses provided at Cal Pau Cruset.
Alaya is a newly-built large activity room (120 square meters) in the place where the old barn was. The building has comfortable accommodation for groups in separate beds or rooms and all the equipment to make your event most comfortable. Spread over two floors, Alaya also has a chill-out terrace on its roof with wonderful views of the vineyards of Penèdes.
On the ground floor, there is a dining room, bathrooms and showers, a dorm with bunk beds, and two twin bedrooms. On the upper floor, there is a magnificent open space specifically designed without any obstructing columns, so as to facilitate all kinds of activities. The floor is of natural oak which brings a lot of warmth and comfort.
It has large windows that take advantage of natural light, which is enjoyed in this area most of the year and, of course, they open out to the beautiful views of the natural surroundings and vineyards. On the terrace, there are large awnings giving a pleasant shade in the warmer months for outdoor activities, rest, and relaxation.
This is the largest house and consists of 3 floors. On the ground floor, you will find a 85 square-meter living room and modern kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped, has American fridge with ice maker, microwave, conventional oven, steam room, dishwasher, all utensils, and small appliances that make your stay feel like home. The lounge has beautiful views of the vineyards and hills, and a fireplace for cool evenings. Up to 12 people can sit comfortably on the sofa or dining table.
On the first floor, there are two bedrooms with double beds and a sofa-bed. There is also a large bathroom with shower. The second floor consists of the master bedroom, a bedroom suite (55 square meters) with a double bed, bath tub, toilet, and bidet.
It's the second largest house and has an open living room with two bedrooms and bathrooms on the top floor. Downstairs, by entering through the glass doors of the casa, you will find a fully equipped kitchen and living room with two sofa-beds. While upstairs, there are two double rooms with private bathrooms, one with shower, and one with a small bath. The patio overlooks the courtyard (24 square meters) shared with Casa Xarello.
With three different levels, this house has two entrances, one on the patio of the big house and one on the west side from the garden to ensure privacy. The living area faces south with doors opening out to a private terrace (12 square meters), several meters from the ground that provides views of the castle Sant Marti from the comfort of your hammock.
The living room has a sleeping couch for 2 people and a TV with VHS player. The living room has high ceilings and a large window (2.75 meters) which overlooks the wineries and hills as well as an old hermitage on the west side.
The kitchen and dining level has a table that seats 4 people and glass doors opening to a private area of the garden with its own dining area. It has an open kitchen with a microwave and an electric double stove. Downstairs, there is a bathroom and simple bedroom. In addition, there is a room with 2 bunk beds which is ideal for children.
Spread across two floors, this house is smaller but no less comfortable than the others. Downstairs, there is a fully equipped kitchen and a living room with a sofa-bed (30 square meters). While upstairs, you will find a large double bedroom with an open bathroom (30 square meters).
The terrace with hammocks and garden is adjacent to the bedroom. You can sit and enjoy your breakfast or even a glass of wine at night. There is also a patio (12 square meters) that is shared with Casa Tempranillo.
On this retreat, you are able to come alone, or even bring along your partner, kids, family, or friends. There is a full program that you can attend, which are yoga classes, hikes, meditation, biodanza, dancing, sun gazing, and nutrition workshops.
This class is very soft and you don't need previous yoga practicing. The movements are really simple and relaxing.
You will have an educational nutrition class. Here, you can learn how to have a healthy focus on nutrition, body, and lifestyle.
Mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way, on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally.
You will write in the first person point of view about yourself. It helps you to come in contact with your feelings, emotions, and sensations.
You can obtain some energy from the sun by concentrating your view at the light of the sun for short periods of time.
Its application consists in experiencing through music, movements, and group encounter situations.
You will go on hiking during this retreat.
