Join Helga Kloss on this breathwalking and yoga retreat taking place at Volkshochschule Klappholttal, List, Germany. This retreat will provide you with yoga, meditation, mantra, breathwalking, daily meals, and experience of staying in northernmost municipality of Germany. By enjoying the bracing surrounding, yoga, breathwalking, and other activities, you will be able to recharge your energy.
All ages are welcome as participants.
You will be accommodated in a simple but comfortably furnished single, double, or shared room. The houses are spread over 7.5 hectares of dune area.
The retreat location will be at Volkshochschule Klappholttal, the academy by the sea, which is located on the edge of the North Sylt nature reserve, directly behind the western beach of the island and surrounded by the unique dunes.
Breathwalk is a gentle fitness program from the tradition of Kundalini yoga. The conscious breathing is placed at the center. After warm-ups, you’ll deal with various breathing patterns alternating with normal respiration. A mantra will accompany you. After 1-3 hours, you'll finish the breathwalk with stretching exercises. A small guided meditation will focus on breathing or the senses. With different breathwalks, you’ll explore the unique nature of north of the island. You’ll walk on the beach and the dune hiking trails. Breathwalk reduces stress, clears the mind, and lifts the humor. You will start the day with Kundalini yoga in the classroom. No previous experience is required on this retreat. The instructor for this retreat will be Helga Kloss.
When doing exercises, please wear warm clothes which is comfortable for movements. Please wear shoes that are suitable for beach walking and dune walking.
