Make some much needed time for yourself this summer by joining us in beautiful Val d'Isere, in the heart of the stunning French Alps, for a week of gentle yoga and awesome hiking. During your week with us, we will spend time restoring and nourishing the body with twice daily yoga practices (a mix of Hatha, Yin, and Restorative) which are suitable for every level of (in)-flexibility.
Whether you are a complete novice or an experienced yogi you will be able to practice to your own depth and intensity. Some yoga will be outside and there is the opportunity to discover the awesome power of the breath in an alchemy of breath workshop.
A guided hike, through different areas of the park, will happen on four of the five days. These will be gentle, last around four to five hours and will take in a variety of stunning scenery - forests, lakes, and passes. There are opportunities for self-guided hikes of longer duration, higher elevation, and greater intensity but these will be self-led.
Benedict is from Brighton, UK. He teaches and facilitates yoga in a number of styles, including Hatha, flow and Yin yoga. He is passionate about breathwork and the transformative and healing power it can have on our lives. When not teaching yoga, he's a secondary school (high school) teacher in various schools in the UK. She met Jen on Everest in 2011 and knew immediately that she was the one for him. They have since traveled extensively, lived all over the world, and after completing their yoga teacher training together, they decided to start running retreats together.
Jez teaches yoga, is training to be a Kayana Breathwork coach and studying to become an Integrative Counsellor. He is fueled by a passion for learning, exploring and sharing practices encompassing the body, mind and breath. Enjoyment and creativity are found in his teachings by weaving these practices with his studies in Integrative Transpersonal Psychology and his deep connection to nature. Jez invites you to become curious to your experience, opening you to self awareness and acceptance. Creating balance of your body, mind and breath.

Meal times are a vital part of the retreat - a chance for people to relax and connect over some delicious food.
Our menu is vegetarian with vegan and gluten-free options - all prepared in-house by our experienced retreat caterer Lizzie. Delicious, nutritious and very very healthy! We have breakfast after our first yoga session, usually, make and take our own packed lunches, and then have a hearty meal together in the evening after Chillout Yoga. You will not go hungry and that's a promise!
