The Locanda del Gallo has 10 rooms all with private bathroom, each equally fresh and silent, each different from one another.

The furnishings adorning every room were all hand-picked and brought back one by one from many distant journeys made by Paola and Irish, the owners of the Locanda del Gallo.

There is no television, nothing to disturb the peace and tranquillity.

Aimee is a yoga instructor with over 2500 hours of teaching, a HeartMath certified coach/mentor, and a graduate Mass General Hospital of the PART program. Working in various complementary areas including breath awareness, relaxation, yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and cardiac coherence, Aimee is dedicated to research-proven mind/body practices and continues to study the space where science meets the wellness discipline. Aimee works with studio classes, individuals, retreat groups, professional groups, hospital staff, school students, and athletes.

Brienne Sembrat

Brienne Sembrat is a life long outdoor enthusiast and hiker, current WFR and Kripalu Outdoor Guide Student. She has worked as a program director and coach for 25 years, bring her organizational experience and outdoor passion as Marketing/Retreat Director and Nature Immersion Guide for Aimee Lamendola LLC.

Organic vegetables from the kitchen garden. Olive oil from the olive grove, aromatic herbs from the garden, yogurt, cakes and home-made breads. In the finest traditions of Mediterranean cuisine everything is natural, everything is genuine.

The price includes dinner on arrival day, three meals per day, and breakfast and lunch on departure day. Most dietary request can be honored at booking time.

White and red wine or other alcohol, cappuccino, bottled H2O are extra. Guest kitchen with stocked honor bar/fridge (5-10 USD corkage fee for wine not bought on premises).

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Florence Airport, Peretola (Amerigo Vespucci Airport) (FLR) or Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport (FCO). Transfers from airports are provided at additional costs. Please make arrangements at least three weeks prior to your arrival. Airport transfers to and from Rome or Florence airports to Locanda del Gallo:

Once guests have made flights, we will gather information and review to see if group van or bus sharing makes sense for you.

The closest railway station is Perugia, 20 kilometers from the Locanda. You can take the train from any airport, then take a taxi from the railway station in Perugia to Locanda del Gallo.

Cancellation Policy

A reservation requires a deposit of 50% of the total price.
The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
