Brahmaguru Yoga India has two spacious yoga shala for classes as well as individual practices, sitting area, and dining area. There is 24-hour Wi-Fi connection, and not to mention all the sunshine and fresh air to refresh and rejuvenate you as you go deeper into the practice of yoga.

Course details

Yoga asana

Yoga asana is truly the oldest form of exercise in the Indian culture. The 100 hours yoga trainer teaching program focuses on enhancing the strength, flexibility, and balance of the students. This is why the collection of the most result-generating yoga asana is included to be practiced by the students on a daily basis. It helps you to push your limits and come out of your comfort zone. You can enhance the power of your muscles and make your brain work better. Every day, a 20-minute yoga asana is a must in this program.

Meditation, pranayama, and mantra chanting

Pranayama (breathing techniques) is another great additional way to add a daily meditative practice in your schedule. It helps you to re-center and balance yourself, better especially, when you are finding it tough to set aside some time to practice.

Mantras are the prayers used for increasing the focus while you are meditating. It keeps your mind busy and helps you in increasing balance within your soul, mind, and body.

Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga sessions

People learn yoga for a variety of reasons - such as, for stress relief, mindfulness, fitness, and spiritual reasons like connection within yourself, or maybe on the recommendation of a friend. Because of the needs, different types of yoga exist in the world today. Some of the very famous forms of yoga practices are - Vinyasa yoga, Ashtanga yoga, Hatha yoga, and Power yoga. These are the most popular ones in the entire world.

The word 'Hatha' actually means the physical practice of yoga, so it can apply in any practice. It also refers to the combination of the sun, 'ha', and the moon, 'tha'.

The Ashtanga yoga involves synchronization of continuous and structured series of postures with your breath. It includes five asana series and you need to specialize in each and every one if you want to move up to the next level.

A Vinyasa is a sort of yoga flow, similar to the Hatha yoga. It often means a specific type of class. In the first place, Vinyasa typically falls somewhere between Hatha and Ashtanga designs, incorporating a great deal of movement and endurance. It includes the best of both.

Mudras, bandhas, and kriyas

The bandhas, mudras, and kriyas are Tantric tools of intelligence that permit the Shakti, or mother nature to bestow the energy of Lord Shiva within us. Mudras generally include the hand gestures that strengthens the energetic circuits in the body, while the bandhas are physical locks that redirect energy in a subtle body so that the effects are spread well within the body, and the kriyas help in the transfer of energy from a subtle body to a casual one by using techniques like - asana, pranayama, and the meditation methods. Thus, a kriya is a well-organized sequence of postures, pranayama, and mantra, that are brought together in a specific manner.

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Jolly Grant Airport (DED). Transfer from this airport is included in the price. Brahmguru Yoga will pick you up from the airport. The free transfer from the airport is available in the morning at 8 a.m., afternoon at 12 p.m., and evening at 5 p.m. Any other time is chargeable at 20 EUR.

If you fly into Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), you can then take a domestic flight to Jolly Grant Airport (DED).

Arrival by train

Rishikesh railway station - Yog Nagari. Bus, train, and taxi available from Delhi.

The nearest railway station is Haridwar train station, it takes 6-10 hours to the retreat location. From there, you will find many buses, taxis, and other transportation services that will bring you to the school. If you want, Brahmguru Yoga can arrange for your pick up from the station on request.

Arrival by taxi

You can take a taxi from Delhi Airport, the distance is 210 kilometers. Once you confirm your spot, Brahmguru Yoga team will be in constant touch with you, advising and ensuring your smooth arrival to the school. The fare is around 4,000 - 4,500 INR.
