Flanked to the north and south by an extensive patch of renosterveld, you will be able to watch many endemic bird species. Generally speaking there is always a bird species to be seen.
Guinevere Guest Farm is somewhat of a gem when it comes to natural vegetation. Namely, Renosterveld a vegetation type of the "fynbos" biome now considered endangered, covers a major portion of the farm. You may start your walk at the house, make your way down and across the river, and once at the very top of the olive groves, you suddenly will step into absolute bliss. With a large number of wild flowers on display all year round, there is always something to watch.
