Why book a yoga holiday in Schiermonnikoog? It is a small West Frisian Island, wonderfully quiet, no traffic and the beaches are the widest in Europe. Every day you can find a spot on the beach or in the dunes where you can practice yoga and meditation exercises. In the city it can be noisy, on Schiermonnikoog you will experience pure silence. You want to join listening to nothing?
During this retreat you will stay in a beautiful pavilion at 500 meters from the beach. Schiermonnikoog is small and very shy of cars. The main transportation is the bike. The pavilion has a yoga room, private rooms and a dining area and open kitchen with a great ambience. The jacuzzi in the back yard (exclusively for the group) is available 24 hours a day. The double rooms have their own entrance and its possible to park your card at private property. Schiermonnikoog is very quite, as is the pavilion where you will stay at. So you can really enjoy the peace.
In this midweek you will practice a combination of Yin, Yang, flow and Chakra yoga, all classes are built up slowly and are suitable for all levels. The retreat of August 11 (until August 14) 2017 takes 4 days. Please note that the retreat requires at least 6 participants to take place. Inform with the organiser about this.
The first boat when the retreat is finished leaves at 16:30. You can leave your luggage in the villa and pick it up whenever you want to.
After her studies at the ballet academy, she worked abroad as a dancer. She got to know about yoga when she was a dancer. Currently, Christina teaches Slow flow, strong flow Chakra yoga, Yin yoga, Postnatal yoga and baby massage. She is also a qualified massage and Reiki therapist. Christina's yoga class is a combination of Hatha, Yin and Bikram yoga. She gives personal attention and will challenge you to listen to yourself and your body.
The retreat will be held on Schiermonnikoog. The quiet and beautiful nature are the perfect combination to make this midweek a success. The travel time from Amsterdam is 2 hours driving by car and the crossing takes another 45 minutes by boat.

In this midweek there are two whole food plant based meals served every day. Bodysattva has created a beautiful and tasty menu together with the cook. You will mostly enjoy the vegetables and fruit from the cook’s garden. Dinner consists of three courses. If you have an allergy please inform Bodysattva. Freedom is one of the mottos this midweek. You can have lunch on the beach or on one of the many terraces. If you prefer eating in the apartment then that is also an option.
