Accommodation is in a beautiful, spacious floating bungalow, a "Jungalo". One or two decks are one each bungalow, offering beautiful cliff and lake views, and a place for a nice hammock nap or viewing wildlife. Each bungalow is furnished a comfortable bed (2 beds in double occupancy units), bedding, pillows, and mosquito netting. (Although we rarely see a mosquito) All the bungalows, as well as all other structures, are floating on the lake, connected by bridge walkways. The bathroom and shower facilities are the only structures on the land.

Begin each day with sunrise therapeutic yoga, followed by breakfast and free time to kayak, swim, hike, or just hang out in your hammock. After a delicious lunch, you will explore and optimize your movement patterns with different aspects of therapeutic yoga; bio-mechanical awareness, pure movement, breathing, and listening to your inner teacher. A light evening dinner, followed by laying down yoga Nidra guided meditation will leave you blissfully relaxed and ready for stargazing or early to bed.

An excursion further into the national park with raft-boat lake tour and a visit to a cave is included. A second optional day excursion is available.

"The teaching of underlying function in movement is extraordinarily helpful. Understanding how muscles and joints move is so much more helpful than just trying to copy picture perfect asana. Thank you!" website, edited

"The New Years Retreat in Southern Thailand was the best retreat I have attended in forty years (and I have been at many!). Not only was the setting fantastic but the facilities were comfortable, clean, safe, beautiful. The teachers were, of course, superb - Steve, Jake and Julie make a lovely team. It was relaxed, full and deep. I would recommend to anyone this site for a retreat. You will be amazed and want to go every year, just like me!"

"I highly recommend the Lake Retreat which I attended over the New Year's holiday [similar to the summer retreat]. It was a re-set for me to regain 'calm abiding'. The setting is beautifully serene. The teachers are superior with deep knowledge & a willingness to guide us. The food, & the local staff are excellent. I will definitely return."

"I am so completely amazed from last night's Yoga Nidra meditation. I went to bed around 11 p.m., set my alarm for 8:15 a.m., and woke up at 11:30 a.m.! I slept through my alarm and missed 3 medical appointments (thankfully they all rescheduled for later today)! I f e e l like a million bucks. That has to be the best sleep I've had in years! Wow! Just, wow!"

"I enjoyed two hours of private sessions of yoga at Julies home. This came after she noted at a group yoga class that I had potential for more ease in my body. Julie set up a series of exercises that I have enjoyed doing at home for about a month, and I am now noticing a significant difference. I am practicing this program 2-3 times a week and now feel more range of motion and mobility in various parts of my body. I had shoulder rotator cuff surgery about 6 months ago, and am now playing golf as well as enjoying other activities (program at a gym, some hiking and biking). Julie has a wonderful way as a yoga instructor. I love her quiet ways, the language she uses during our sessions, her explanations what we are doing, and always come away happy that I have participated."

"In May of 2011, I had knee replacement surgery and was in considerable discomfort. I met Julie when she was teaching yoga at a meditation retreat on the Big Island of Hawaii. The few and simple exercises that she taught me were enough to move me out of pain and into more flexibility. A few months later, I had a week long experience with her at another meditation retreat in Thailand and felt a major improvement in flexibility and strength. I highly recommend this highly skilled and most compassionate teacher."

"Julie and I have been working together for about 6 months. During that time I have been implementing gentle activation exercises to re-engage my stomach stability: neural pathways, fascia, and ultimately the stomach muscles. I have also started breathing exercises. Throughout my life I have relied on "powering" through life's challenges. But as I do these exercises I hear Julie's sweet voice, "Less is more." This reminds me to be gentle with myself, have compassion for my process and to stay connected with my sense of curiosity. "

The serene location is unbelievable, you will meet amazing people and Julie is a really special teacher - her quality shines through every thing she does.Julie's commitment and deep respect for every student and the amazing environment meant everyone deepened (and enjoyed) their own practice. Add to that the amazing food - it's heaven! Do a week - better still two if you can!"

"Julie Seibt's classes are more than a yoga session. She combines the understanding of positions and body structure to teach finite elements of movement in a slow, conscious manner that can forever change how one moves through exercise of any sort. Her gentle approach belies the actual exertion that is taking place. After a session, your body is awoken not only physically but internally by her mindful directives and philosophy. She brings more than yoga to the individual and this is why myself and many others make the effort to join in her classes wherever she may be teaching."

"As a woman who has been practicing yoga in one form or another since 1995, I share that I haven't been practicing much, if at all, for over a year. On the Big Island, Hawaii, before, I am visualizing the citrus grove with the showy decorative fowl, the wood bees hard at work, and the sun streaming into the "Qi deck yoga studio as we wake up our bodies and minds to Julie's offerings. I look forward to experiencing the farm to table cuisine, going barefoot and allowing my spirit to renew in the magic of the Big Island and especially the private ranch we call home for the week. Aloha and namaste!"
