Adrienn has been practicing yoga for over 7 years, before discovering that she had an overactive thyroid (Graves’ disease). Through the journey, she found a new interest in food, nutrients, and subsequently Ayurveda. So she left her corporate desk to join the 200-hour yoga teacher training course led by Himalaya Yoga Valley in Mandrem, India. She further studied yoga for cancer survivors. Her classes follow traditional Ashtanga and Hatha yoga, the Himalayan tradition of yoga meditation, an Iyengar focus on alignment, Vinyasa conditioning. In combination, find a balance between body and mind.

Adri was a true inspiration. She spent time with everyone. Answering individual questions and giving advice on posture and alignment. The mindfulness session at beginning of each morning set the scene for the practice. The workshops on Friday and Saturday are not to be missed. She gave 110% as did Susie. All equipment - mats, blocks, straps and blankets were available if you don't have your own. I attended on my own, but was made to feel part of the group instantly. I was not the only yogi to attend on my own, almost half the group were individuals. You certainly don't have to be an expert at Yoga. Some were complete beginners who had never practiced before, but after this retreat I think they will be continuing to practice Yoga. Adri had time and advice for all levels. Value for money.
