Based in London, Clive Fogelman has a creative and open-minded approach to yoga and meditation, influenced by his therapeutic work and sporting background. He encourages people to cultivate intuition within their bodies, mindful that all individuals are different and continually evolving. His tailored yoga classes emphasize linking breath and movement to direct attention inward and become more aware of each moment and the unique nature of your own body. Drawing on the parallels between yoga and life, the mat becomes an opportunity for exploration and transformation.
Susie started practicing yoga in her late teens following an injury incurred through her dance training. The freedom and ease that she found while dancing was reawakened when she discovered yoga. She has studied and attended an eclectic array of workshops and trainings with internationally acclaimed instructors offering her the opportunity to deepen her studies in Hatha, Yin, Ashtanga, Yoga Nidra and meditation but due to her background in dance her style is deeply rooted in Vinyasa. This is reflected in her teaching which lends to the smooth choreography of her classes.
Jess Rose is a Kansas City native based in Europe for the past 10 years and travels the world to lead workshops, retreats, and teacher trainings. Since 2015, Jess has been teaching on DoYouYoga.com, the world’s largest online yoga community and has more than 50,000 students all over the world. As an RYT-500 / E-RYT-200 in alignment-based Vinyasa and Hatha, her classes are founded on the importance of sustainable alignment and biomechanics, but her passion shines through in the form of creative sequencing, the exploration of themes, and an innate sense of playfulness and humor.
William Mitchell has been practicing yoga for close to 10 years, he found yoga as a compliment to his running, cycling and hiking pursuits. After quickly realising yoga’s physical, mental and spiritual benefits it quickly became the centre of his life. He qualified to teach yoga in 2017 and opened his own studio in the city centre of Manchester in 2019. He can teach many styles of yoga, tailoring the classes to the needs of his students. His classes are simultaneously fun, challenging and accessible.
Jasmine began her practice almost a decade ago, whilst training in physical and contemporary theatre. Yoga continues to offer her a space to truly land in her body with compassion; to create space for inquiry, meditation, and play. These values are baked into the very fabric of her practice and are woven into her offerings. he completed her training in Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga in India in 2019 and has since bolstered her knowledge with various pieces of training and workshops in Yin, sequencing, and several in anatomy, which she has a keen and vigorous curiosity for and has trained in with Leslie
Holm Hänsel’s yoga classes will bring you joy through the movement of your body and a deeper sense of peace in your mind. Through yoga, Holm himself constantly experiences new limits to be mastered. Sometimes it is possible to overcome these limits and sometimes it is not. It’s for this reason it’s so important to learn to accept where you are now and give yourself the time you need to progress. Concentrating on the essentials and letting go of what is no longer needed leads to new stages in life suddenly opening up. Holm affirms that yoga, like life, is a wonderful journey.

Faye discovered yoga when she was pregnant with her first child, back in 2005, and immediately fell in love. This ancient discipline somehow felt like an incredible balm for her slightly chaotic, busy life (she was running a restaurant at the time). Fast-forward 18 years, and yoga still soothes Faye’s mind and empowers her spirit in much the same way. Faye is the founder and owner of the UK studio, Barefoot Birmingham Yoga, and mainly teaches Slow-Flow; a mindful mix of Vinyasa Flow and Hatha yoga.

"I’m not sure which of the 3 Jessica’s it was as I don’t know"
I don’t know her last name. But she was beyond amazing. I don’t think I’ll ever find another yoga teacher so inspirational, upbeat, flexible and who reads the room knowing exactly what we need each time

Good comfortable chalet, sumptuous brunch and fabulous vegetarian dinner. Great schedule yoga + hiking + spa + day trip to town. Good yoga practice twice daily.

It was a great experience, yoga was very grounding and settling, every practice was very special and the postures were always introduced in different variations and adjusted to the group needs and the activities of each specific day.
The place was very beautiful just to walk around and stare at mountains, I always had enough things to do if I wanted to, and enough of the relaxation time.
The meal served by a super talented chef was absolutely delicious. There were also a few organised hikes in the area with great views.
Lovely experience in general that I would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to have time with themselves, nature, and nice people around.

"Great experience "
The retreat was absolutely out of my expectations. It is a great, luxurious place to be, with kind, friendly and great hosts and stuff . It was organized in the best possible way. I enjoyed my classes with our great yoga teacher Lisa who made sure that we are advancing daily. She was kind, professional, dedicated and took time to be present with each one of us. Our hiking guide Suz took us on the amazing spots where we had chance to see the beauty of the mountains and nature, I have to mention her dog Obi, he is adorable. The best ever chef Jonno who prepared delicious food, you can expect in the famous luxury restaurants expressing his unique style and artistic expression. Spa and massage was nourishing for soul and mind. I'm grateful for the experience and highly recommend the retreat. I will go gladly again.

"Blue Rise Chamonix"
Everything! The chalet was beautiful with excellent facilities (even if the lights were a bit odd to operate!). Excellent chef who catered to all needs and cooked us some delightful food. Ellie, Josh and Vanessa were very friendly and welcoming. Ellie and Josh were extremely accommodating with where people wanted to go and took care of everything from lessons ski hire and transfers. I only needed to pack! Vanessa is a wonderful yoga instructor who read the class brilliantly and taught me yoga practice I hadn't experienced before. All in all I would definitely recommend this retreat for skiing and yoga.

"A retreat to be connected with yourself again"
The retreat was great! It was one of the best experiences of my life. Not only the relaxation within the retreat, but also the self-development that I was able to experience with the help of the instructors.

"Really loved it - worth every cent!"
I enjoyed this retreat so much, there was always such a positive vibe and it even felt a bit like family!
Everyone really went out of their way to get you what you wanted (e.g. special-order desert by the phantastic cook, additional transfers into the city-center, or specially providing Coca-Cola because while I know it’s not healthy, I really love it) - and they did it with a genuine smile.
I was a bit hesitant at first to book this, because I thought it was a bit higher-priced than some other retreats I had looked at: But I think, that since so much was already included in the price (transfers, 1-hr-massage, day-spa ticket, etc.) that in the end, I paid less than for the others, where so many things would have led to additional costs.
And now that I’ve been there; even if it had been higher priced than other retreats, it would still have been worth it :-)

"A lovely week of exercise and relaxation in the French Alps"
+ The chalet offered pure luxury! A magnificent view into the valley and up towards the mountains. Five star facilities: Comfortable beds. Individually decorated rooms (continent-themed). A pool. A hot tub. A sauna, steam and massage room. A fire place. A large terrace and balcony. A small bar area. A games room. A private little movie theatre. A big dining and seating area. Keywords: comfortable and spacious.
+ The surroundings were simply stunning. The snow-capped mountains and lush green hills. Small meltwater streams here and there (one right next to the chalet). Great hiking paths through the forest.
+ A well thought through week's schedule that offered a great mix of yoga sessions and guided activities (hikes, night out in Chamonix, spa trip to Italy), but also left plenty of room for everybody's own plans, relaxation and excursions.
+ Being able to try out varying yoga styles in energising morning and calmer, more relaxing evening sessions. The choice of Naomi Hayama as a yoga teacher was excellent.
+ The massage session!
+ The food was amazing! Even as a non-vegetarian, I thought the (fully vegetarian) meals were absolutely delicious, very varied and always supplied in copious amounts.
+ The fact that one felt pampered and well looked after. That we didn't have to worry about buying and preparing food, doing the dishes or the washing. That even towels, bathrobes and slippers were supplied. One could simply be, switch off and relax...
