Warm insulated wood and brick chalets for sharing have one double bedroom and one twin room each, a lounge, a private balcony or decked terrace, one bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen with fridge and kettle. Some cabins also have a sofa bed. You can also luxuriate in your own warm fully insulated wood and brick chalet with hotel-style double bedroom and bedding, a private balcony or decked terrace with nature or sea views, spotless private bathroom, lounge, and fully equipped kitchen with fridge and kettle.

Allow yourself a peaceful place to reset and take time yourself. There is a wood burner in the yoga room, and they will be keeping the room warm to ease joints. There will be plenty of cushions, bolsters, and blankets to support your practice. The firepit each evening will provide a relaxing environment in which to socialize relax.

Program

Book yourself this weekend retreat on Devon’s north coast. Stay in a luxury wood and brick chalet with hotel-style beds, lounge, modern bathroom and balcony or decked terrace, and fully fitted kitchen.

We have a wood-burning stove in the yoga room to keep up warm: indulge in one yoga flow on Friday evening after arrival, two yoga flows on Saturday and Sunday, and one yoga flow on Monday morning before departure, daily breathwork, therapeutic massage, and inclusive activities including saltwater swimming, nature walking, star gazing, and connecting with like-minded people around the fire pit each evening. Reiki healing, at additional cost, is also available to book throughout your stay.

At Blue Stone Retreats, you will have three dedicated teachers and a massage therapist to guide you. The yoga they teach is restorative, gentle, nurturing, energizing, and healing. You do not need to be flexible, and beginners are encouraged to join the retreat.

Blue Stone Retreats is a non-profit dedicated to sustainability and nature. They invest their profits after they have paid the teachers and running costs, into wildlife and biodiversity, installing nesting boxes, hedgehog homes, or investing in water ecology projects in each retreat location.

They measure and report their carbon footprint and joined 'Race to Zero'. Blue Stone Retreats is not here to preach. Their yoga is nurturing, restorative and they create an environment for you to relax and reset. If you feel like a personal yoga or breathwork session rather than a group class, that is fine. If you feel like a nature walk, no problem. Simply inquire during your stay. Blue Stone Retreats does recommend their set programs, so you can achieve the best results for yourself but, it is up to you.

Before breakfast, your teacher will guide an hour-long warm yoga flow, there is nothing better to fire up your metabolism and ready you for the day. You will feel brilliant. You will have six warm yoga flows classes, one each on Friday and Monday and two each on Saturday and Sunday.

Included excursions

You will participate in a trip to stunning 'Broad Sands' beach, where you will warm up around the firepit on the beach and take part in breathwork before and after taking a cold-water dip together as a group. You will be given a hot water bottle and be guided back to the firepit afterwards. The benefits of cold water therapy are:

The retreat will take place in Combe Martin, Devon, United Kingdom. Manleigh Park is situated on the outskirts of Combe Martin with its delightful sand and pebble beach and on the western fringe of the Exmoor National Park. The park enjoys spectacular views out to sea in one direction and towards Exmoor in the other. When staying at Manleigh, you are ideally situated to enjoy the many beautiful beaches of the North Devon coast and the moorland and wooded valleys of Exmoor.

During this retreat, you will be served continental breakfast and home-cooked vegetarian or vegan dinner every day included in the price. If you would like vegan food throughout the retreat, this can be provided. Snacks and lunches are at your own expense so please feel welcome to bring food to keep in your accommodation fridge and prepare in your own kitchen.

Freshly ground coffee and brewed tea are available at extra costs. Much of the food is locally sourced and seasonal. Each evening, Friday to Sunday, there will be warming homemade pizza available in addition to the home-cooked vegetarian dinner. At the end of your day, you are welcome to join in the social area for a drink.
