The four Luxury Tipis surround the yoga shala and are serviced by a dedicated newly built toilet and shower block. If you have never stayed in a tipi, you will be amazed at the level of comfort they can provide. An unforgettable experience far superior to staying in the most luxurious of rooms.
Unsurprisingly, Luxury Tipis is the most popular accommodation at the Tipi Garden Resort as they offer a truly glamorous experience. The Luxury Tipis are furnished to a very high standard with a king-sized bed or two single beds as required. Each Luxury Tipi has its own private veranda with shade, seating, and hammocks. Attached private basin and wash area with running water is available for each Luxury Tipi.
The tree house style rooftop boasts the best views at the Tipi Garden Resort. It combines the excitement of tree house living with the comfort and safety of having a solid floor under your feet. The 360 degree views are truly spectacular. Nature lovers will spend hours observing the local wildlife from this great vantage point. You will see monkeys, peacocks, eagles and kites, kingfishers, mongooses, and much more.
The accommodation is available with a king-sized bed or two single beds and has a large private balcony where you can practice your yoga or simply enjoy some quiet time. Guests staying in this room can use the eco bathroom and the kitchenette downstairs if the double room is unoccupied.
The Double Bedroom comprises the ground floor of the Mini Beach Villa. Located in east end of the Tipi Garden Resort, it is surrounded by its own private garden and has a private entrance gate. The large balcony and veranda offer ample outdoor living space and there is also a kitchenette available for preparing your own drinks, snacks, and meals if you require.
Guests staying here can use the eco bathroom. The location of this room in the quiet east end of the property means that guests can enjoy a very large garden without any through traffic from guests staying in other parts of the resort. This also gives you a great opportunity to enjoy the beautiful nature and wildlife of the forest that borders the property on this end. From peacocks to kingfishers, mongooses, and monkeys, nature lovers will enjoy a jungle book experience.
The Garden Bungalow is small but full of charm. Constructed with a mix of traditional and modern materials, it was the first guest room to be built in the Tipi Garden Resort. This room has a double bed and is suitable for a couple or single occupancy. It is located in a shady spot in the organic garden just a one minute walk to Kudle Beach.
This retreat is located on a beautiful, palm-fringed, tropical beach on India's Arabian Sea coast next to the holy town of Gokarna. The last few years, Gokarna has attained a reputation as one of the best yoga centers for the winter season in India. The natural beauty of the area combined with the ancient spiritual tradition of the holy town of Gokarna makes it the ideal location for yoga students and teachers. No words can describe the unbelievable beauty and magic of Gokarna and Kudle Beach.
The beach is one of the most beautiful in all of India. Surrounded by forested hills and facing the sunset, you will be dreaming of returning to it as soon as you have gone. You will carry the soothing sound of the rolling waves and the sight of the magical sunsets in your mind for a long time after you have left. Everyone loves Kudle! There are no clubs and discos on Kudle Beach but what better than an impromptu beach party around a fire with music and dancing under the stars. And for the more adventurous, you can have a night swim and be amazed by the phosphorescent plankton that is found in these waters.
Gokarna is one of the holiest places in all of India. Known as the Varanasi of the south and home to the reverred Atma (soul) Shiva Lingam, it is always bustling with pilgrims visiting the many temples found here. Despite its spiritual significance, it has remained a charming, small coastal town with just 3 main streets. Temple lovers and photographers can spend hours exploring and soaking up the tranquil atmosphere. Gokarna is also well-connected by bus and train. Buses stop right in town and Gokarna Road railway station is just 15 minutes away by taxi or rickshaw. The nearest airport is Goa International Airport (GOI) which is 150 kilometers away.
Gokarna is located on a small peninsula and the area is a beach lovers paradise. As well as Kudle Beach, you can enjoy many other beaches including Paradise Beach, Om Beach, Half Moon Beach, Nirvana Beach, and the 8-kilometer long Main Beach. They are easily reached by beautiful walks over the headlands, by boat, or by taxi. The 2 hour trek from Kudle Beach to Paradise Beach, passing through Om and Half Moon beaches, is a must for anyone visiting the area.
Om Beach is so called because of its distinctive shape. Spend a few hours here swinging in a hammock in the shade and sipping an ice cold beer, going in the calm water for a refreshing dip and enjoying a lunch of fresh caught fish in one of the beach shacks. Half Moon Beach is the smallest and quietest beach in Gokarna. You will forget the rest of the world exists and, more often than not, you can have the whole beach to yourself. All the beaches can be reached by the regular boat services that are available here. Look out for dolphins as you ride the blue water and be amazed at the remarkable beauty of the Konkan coast.
A typical daily schedule is listed below, however, you will be advised of the exact schedule for your week when you arrive. The yoga classes last between one and a half hours to two hours depending on the day and style.
The nearest airport is Goa International Airport (GOI). Blue Planet Retreats can arrange airport transfers for you if you require. Please contact Blue Planet Retreats if you need more detailed travel advice.

If you are coming to India for less than 30 days then a visa on arrival is available at some Indian international airports. Please note that Indian visa validity starts from the date of issue rather than date of entry into India. Your passport must have at least 6 months validity and 2 blank pages. There are no compulsory vaccinations for travel to India. Take anti-malarials at your discretion, however, you will be pleased to know that there have been no cases of malaria in Gokarna for many years.
