Do you feel called to do something greater? If you yearn to inspire, to make a difference, to lead, that kind of calling, leadership, can be terrifying. In Blue Osa Yoga Retreat & Spa's yoga circles, they don’t often specifically teach and train for leadership, but it’s essential in your journey. This immersion training at the Blue Osa will immerse you in the specific transformational skills and yogic practices you need in order to connect with your higher purpose and offer it to your classes (should you teach), your community, and the world. Blue Osa Yoga Retreat & Spa cordially invites you to join them in the next Costa Rica 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training immersion.

Each of the rooms and bungalows is uniquely designed to deliver on comfort, convenience, and relaxation. Whether it’s heightened ocean views, a serene garden setting, or a spacious beachfront bungalow, at Blue Osa you’ll find purpose-built, jungle-chic rooms that create the ideal setting for a tranquil, restorative yoga teacher training.
Eco-friendly is not only in design, but Blue Osa also encourages guests to be mindful by implementing a morning silence to a pre-dinner ritual of presenting the food during their freshly prepared organic farm-to-table communal meals. For full relaxation, there is also a full-service spa offering Blue Osa signature facials and body scrubs. Massage practitioners offering therapies such as Thai and deep tissue massage.
A Chinese medicine acupuncturist is also available. Built from the ground up as a sustainable micro-grid that runs mostly on solar power, Blue Osa intends to leave the smallest carbon footprint possible. Step into the tranquil oasis that is Blue Osa. Set on a remote beachfront location, this eco-resort houses up to 38 guests in 13 comfortable eco-chic rooms located in three main buildings along with on-site facilities: A column-free 1,350 square foot open-air yoga studio on the second floor of the yoga building overlooks their private beach. There is a full-service eco-spa with two treatment rooms each with a private, zen-like garden, and outdoor shower. The cocina is an open kitchen and dining room. At one end of the pool sits the pool pavilion with comfortable lounge sofas and chairs, perfect for a casual meeting or reading a great book. At the other end of the pool sits a beautiful Indian-style temple with a fire kunda. This space is perfect for a private yoga practice or meditation. Additionally, Blue Osa Yoga Retreat & Spa grows their own spinach, yucca, and other root vegetables. Every day, the farmers bring freshly laid eggs to the cocina.
Students who complete their subsequent trainings are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).

Blue Osa is located about 8 miles (11 kilometers) south of Puerto Jimenez on the Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica which National Geographic Magazine labeled “the most biologically intense place on Earth”. They are nearest to the border of the world-renowned Corcovado National Park and on the warm shores of the Golfo Dulce. While visiting the tropical eco-resort you are likely to spot some of Costa Rica’s shyest and most endangered rainforest inhabitants, including the red-backed squirrel monkey, scarlet macaws, harpy eagles, and maybe even a jaguar.
Costa Rica is located on the Central American isthmus, it borders Nicaragua to the north and Panama to the south. The Caribbean Sea is to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west. Costa Rica is slightly north of the equator, therefore, the climate is tropical year-round. Costa Rica was and continues to be a pioneer country in eco-tourism, drawing visitors to the extensive national parks and protected areas across the country.
The Osa Peninsula (where Blue Osa is located) is characterized by warm, breezy days, with highs between 82 to 92 degrees, and lows in the range of 75 to 85 degrees. Please take note, however, that the Osa Peninsula is part of the rainforest, and is surrounded by jungle. Because the Osa Peninsula is blessed with wonderful weather year-round, there really isn’t a “best” time to visit.
Though most guidebooks list the ideal time to travel to Costa Rica as December through May, Blue Osa Yoga Retreat & Spa enjoys a stable climate of 75 to 85 degrees relatively year-round. Of course, don’t try looking for that information via online weather reports. Their private oasis is so off the map, Google has yet to find them. Fun fact: the 19,730 miles (about the size of West Virginia) that make up Costa Rica actually house 20 different climate zones. The bottom line? The time to visit is whenever you want. Take a moment to check out Blue Osa Yoga Retreat & Spa's weekly weather report and see for yourself.
Blue Osa Yoga Retreat & Spa believes that nutritious, wholesome food is not only the foundation for a productive life, but is also essential for a happy one. Meals are proportioned with optimum health in mind. No one leaves Blue Osa hungry: guaranteed. The daytime meals are primarily vegetarian and the evening meals may include meat or fish.
