You will be accommodated at Blue Indigo Yoga School. Nestled in a tranquil area surrounded by a centenary tree and flowers. You’ll have the choice of staying in a dorm, shared twin cottage, or private cottage. With seven rooms, each with a size of 40 square meters, the rooms are equipped with a big ceiling fan to keep the atmosphere cool, a private bathroom with shower, and a mosquito net.
None of the rooms have air conditioning. This place is really simple, accentuated with wood furniture to give you that homey, rustic feel. There is also a same-gender shared dormitory.
On the center of the property, there is a 100 square meter ventilated yoga shala for meditation Theravada.
In their beautiful shala, you can read up on yoga breathing techniques and sequences to practice pranayama, the ideal complement to Buddhist meditation , and different exercice of yoga.
You will share their beautiful land with the cats who live here. If you’re a cat lover, you’re in luck, as most of them are always up for a hug. If you are less fond of cats, don’t worry. If you don’t open your door for them, they’ll leave you alone.

Patrick is an Aerial Yoga Alliance certified teacher and practices yoga regularly for the past 10 years. He has over 30 years of experience in web technology and over 20 years of experience with photography and multimedia, working as a humanitarian photographer for multiple organizations. His goal is to see each of you complete this teacher training course with a beautiful website, blog, video of yourself, and your practice or teaching to share with your family and friends or use to apply for your next volunteer or teacher job. You will learn this art and science all along in this program.
Jean-Yves has over 8 years experience in Yoga, meditation and Buddhist philosophy with Vipassana.. He obtained an Aerial Yoga TTC (50h) and teaches regularly, and practices Ayurvedic massage when time allows. He is the founder and owner of Blue Indigo Yoga Cottage in Siem reap, an intimate, all inclusive center dedicated to Yoga. Operating since 2014, the cottage has hosted hundreds of practitioners and multiple TTCs and workshops.
Asma has been teaching and exploring yoga for several years, she is a certified level 2 Iyengar Yoga Teacher by Patanjali Yoga Switzerland. She is also certified in Aerial yoga and prenatal instructor. Mostly teaching and training in Asia for the last four years, she continues her studies about yoga and functional movement. Asma also has an artistic background in fine arts painting, circus art, and dance and has been a theatre actress for 7 years before her yoga career. Her classes are a mix of her artistic and yogic journey.

During your stay, you will be provided with daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food served during your retreat will be a nutritious and homemade variety of vegetarian dishes with local ingredients. It’s a fusion of Cambodian ingredients and tastes with some French insights.
Meals are served front of the mekong, simple and friendly. All meals are shared in the restaurant and are seen as a social occasion, a chance to bond and share stories with fellow guests and teachers.
Blue Indigo’s Cambodian cooks serve essentially Khmer vegetarian meals, with seasonal fruits and vegetables. These meals are perfectly balanced and participate in your physical and spiritual welfare.
Breakfast typically includes fresh fruits, bread, local honey, sesame porridge, yogurts. Teas are specialty mixes of the house, with flower aromas. Lunch is simple and light, with raw and cooked options, some salads, and local specialties.

This is a 25-kilometer ride, having a fun time in rural areas by experiencing a genuinely different atmosphere. You will ride among rice fields, vegetable farms, haycock, local markets (tasting local delicacies such as fruits and cakes), experience daily village life, and rest in a Buddhist pagoda.

From Phnom Penh, you take the Japanese bridge, and you can get there by Svay Chrum ferry port. After, take a tuktuk (7 USD) to Puk Russey village.
