Blue Indigo Yoga invites you to this progressive retreat. This retreat is yoga alliance international an opportunity to study yourself while making room for growth and personal development. They offer a place dedicated to the well-being of the body, mind and spirit. Discover the benefits of yoga and give space to personal development!
You will be accommodated at Blue Indigo. You’ll have the choice of staying in a same-gender dorm, shared twin room, or private room. All rooms have a solar hot shower, Fan and mosquito net.
You will practice the noble silence in the rooms area.
It is forbidden to telephone in the rooms and in the spaces of the rooms.
Silence is an essential element for a retreat. the shared spaces are there for that.
The retreat package incorporates daily full Meditation & yoga program, while focusing on developing your inner tools. This enables you to create and maintain balance and harmony in your life, no matter what circumstances you may face. A space to nurture the frazzled mind and nervous system but most of all, shed the obligations and pressures of work and life. There is time to walk or ride a bike through town.
Rest, read a book, chat with others or just take in the yoga retreat gardens. You will feel instantly relaxed in the tranquil and inclusive environment of Blue Indigo.

06:00 Anapana Sati and Vipassana Sati – Buddhist meditation to start the day in full awareness
07:30 Nutritious breakfast to revitalize you
10:00 Vinyasa or Flow practice – a dynamic session to fluidify the body and mind.
12:00 Lunch break
16:30 (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) Pranayama: An essential practice of yoga that consists of controlling breathing to improve physical and mental well-being
16:30 (Friday) Aerial yoga combines elements of traditional yoga with the use of suspended hammocks. Work on balance and stretching
16:30 (Sunday) Qi gong: Introduction to Chinese meditation, feelings, and contact with air, as well as nature. Harmony of body and mind*17:00 Restorative Yin Yoga or Hatha Yoga – work on body balance, postures and stretching
19:00 Dinner in a friendly atmosphere
21:00 Rest time to prepare for the night
Note: Mondays are rest days, without classes. You can choose to do a silent day, to chill at the swimming pool, explore the neighborhood, practice yoga and/or meditation on your own… The day is yours to make whatever you want to.

Patrick is an Aerial Yoga Alliance certified teacher and practices yoga regularly for the past 10 years. He has over 30 years of experience in web technology and over 20 years of experience with photography and multimedia, working as a humanitarian photographer for multiple organizations. His goal is to see each of you complete this teacher training course with a beautiful website, blog, video of yourself, and your practice or teaching to share with your family and friends or use to apply for your next volunteer or teacher job. You will learn this art and science all along in this program.
Jean-Yves has over 8 years experience in Yoga, meditation and Buddhist philosophy with Vipassana.. He obtained an Aerial Yoga TTC (50h) and teaches regularly, and practices Ayurvedic massage when time allows. He is the founder and owner of Blue Indigo Yoga Cottage in Siem reap, an intimate, all inclusive center dedicated to Yoga. Operating since 2014, the cottage has hosted hundreds of practitioners and multiple TTCs and workshops.
Asma has been teaching and exploring yoga for several years, she is a certified level 2 Iyengar Yoga Teacher by Patanjali Yoga Switzerland. She is also certified in Aerial yoga and prenatal instructor. Mostly teaching and training in Asia for the last four years, she continues her studies about yoga and functional movement. Asma also has an artistic background in fine arts painting, circus art, and dance and has been a theatre actress for 7 years before her yoga career. Her classes are a mix of her artistic and yogic journey.
The retreat location is seated along the banks of the tranquil Mekong River, a heartbeat away from Phnom Penh, the capital city of Cambodia opposite the island of Koh Dach, the island of Silk, 14 kilometers from the capital Phnom Penh, Province of Kandal.
Many Cambodians from the capital live on the other side of the river and it's very pleasant because the villages are authentic, and life is peaceful.
The gentle presence of the Mekong River invites you to embark on a blissful journey of introspection and discovery. The boat is the vessel that will carry you through the currents and immerse you in the profound beauty of Cambodia’s nature, culture, and warm-hearted people.

During your stay, you will be served a nutritious and home-cooked vegetarian breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All meals are shared in the garden, front of the Mekong River, offering an occasion to socialize, a chance to bond and share stories with fellow guests and teachers.
You will enjoy the friendly and relaxed atmosphere, simplicity, and friendship at no charge. This is the perfect break from all that inward self-reflection.
The typical breakfast menu consists of toast, oats, home-made yogurt, home-made jam, peanut butter, fresh seasonal fruit, and tea. For lunch, it will be generally Cambodian-styled dishes, like rice, nutritious vegetables, and a seasonal fruit platter.
During your free time, you may sign up for trekking tours and day trips, explore local Cambodian culture villages, visit the Mekong River with its floating villages. There will be time to walk or bike ride through the town.
