You will be staying at the Blue Indigo yoga retreat center located 10 minutes away from the Siem Reap riverside. The center is designed as a spiritual retreat center and suits your needs very well. The center comprises of comfortable seven wooden cottages, each 30 sq. m. with a ceiling fan to keep the atmosphere cool and mosquito nets. Each cottage has lovely bathroom with shower. The cottages are nestled in a tranquil area surrounded by trees and flowers for a lovely atmosphere. Note, none of the cottages have A/C (temperatures are nowhere near as high as the UAE) and this is not ‘5 star Dubai’ type accommodation.
In the center of the property there is a 100 square meter shala (room) for yoga and meditation. The shala is built with traditional materials and is very well ventilated. There is a very shady restaurant space for meals.
At the retreat, please note that you may encounter animals (cats, dogs, chicken etc), insects and mosquitoes.
From time to time, there are mosquitoes in Siem Reap, based on the season, the temperature, time of day, and many other factors that Blue Indigo Cottage Retreat Center cannot control. They do not carry malaria or dengue fever, at least not in the area you are and around the temples. Blue Indigo Cottage Retreat Center avoids pesticides, but Blue Indigo Cottage Retreat Center provides insecticide of you prefer, and each cottage has an UV lamp to trap mosquitoes.
Typically, people use natural mosquito repellent as creams if there are many mosquitoes around. These can be found in all shops around town. Each bed has a mosquito net.

Some places also require you to complete a standard 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training. Yoga Alliance members can register this course online as additional training hours.

Total beginners with no experience can do aerial. Ages range from 18-65. You will not be taught advanced poses or anything too difficult. Aerial Yoga is a mix of yoga, acrobatics, pilates and physical therapy. Mostly, it is easier than normal yoga because swings are used to support your body weight so your muscles don't work as hard. The swings allows you to move more freely, stretch easier, attain correct alignment and do advanced poses such as handstands and inversions. Aerial offers great therapeutic benefits by using gravity to stretch the spine, relieve back pain and heal injuries.
