You will be staying at 42 Acres during the retreat. It is a place for truth a growth; a home for those passionate about creating change - from the inside out. Seven hundred acres of ancient forest encircle the main house, originally built as a dairy farm in the 1800. Through centuries, 42 Acres has evolved into a retreat space.

At the retreat, the guests are expected to learn writing techniques by journalist and book publisher Andrew Lownie, while practicing yoga and meditation with yoga pioneer Robin. At The Creative Warrior, these activities will be complementary. The strength, relaxation, and resilience provided by the practice of yoga will enable the attendees to become more receptive to maximize their creative potential.

Guests from many different backgrounds and yoga levels are welcome, from total beginners to the experienced practitioner. All classes and / or workshops are optional, but The Creative Warrior recommends at least two activities a day.

Retreat schedule

Day 1

  • 16:00 Guests will arrive and have time to become familiar with their surroundings and accommodation
  • Coffee, tea, drinks and light snacks
  • 19:00 Meeting at the living room for an informal gathering, wine in moderation
  • 19:15 Introduction: short intros by all participants
  • 20:30 Dinner

Day 2

  • 07:00 Coffee, tea, and fruits
  • 08:00 Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga class, followed by meditation (1:30 minutes)
  • 10:00 Breakfast
  • 11:15 5k run
  • 12:40 Lunch
  • 14:00 - 16:00 Writing workshop covering following key topics:

*Identifying strengths and weaknesses as a writer of fiction

*General awareness of fiction writing

*How to draw characters and establish settings

*How characters and places interact

  • 18:00 Headstands workshop, followed by meditation (1 hour)
  • 20:30 Dinner

Day 3

  • 07:00 Coffee, tea, and fruits
  • 08:00 Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga class, followed by meditation (1:30 min)
  • 10:00 Breakfast
  • 12:00 - 13:30 Open discussion on blog writing and getting published
  • 14:30 Lunch
  • Discussion between participants and tutors on course contents, learnings, etc.
  • 16:00 Check out and departure

Cintia started her practice in 2008 studying in Brazil with DeRose, President of Honor in one of the most successful networks of self-development in Brazil, Portugal, and Argentina, with a good penetration in other European countries and awarded numerous titles from various institutions around the world. Cintia teaches in North London, where she is based, and Ibiza. Instead of trying to fit different people into standard positions, her students are encouraged to express themselves through their fullest ability.

Everything is handmade from fresh ingredients in the relaxed, sunny atmosphere of the farm kitchen at 42. Mark Mabon is a self-taught, 20-year explorer of world foods and health systems and draws on a deep practical knowledge of the cleansing properties of raw vegan foods, healing whole foods, and the nourishing properties of Weston Price / Paleo dieting. He's also been catering (and participating in) retreats for 15 years and understands the process and the central role that food can play within it.

The highest quality food must nourish all of these - and still be deliciously tasty! Guests often have a wide variety of needs and desires, which we are well practiced to meet. 42 prides itself on an integrated and uncompromising food policy: organic ingredients in almost every case; sourcing from world-class local small-scale artisan growers and producers including superb organic (and raw) goat, sheep and cow's dairy; organic sourdough bakers; chef's own sauerkrauts, ferments and pickles; all oils are cold-pressed and organic; celtic sea salt only; sugar-free kitchen. Only organic eggs; fresh line-caught fish from the UK coast; only pasture-fed organic meat; wild venison, rabbit, and other game from local estates and parks.
