Each house is very different but will have 2 twin beds in the bedroom, a bathroom with plenty of hot water, full kitchen with spacious sitting area, and an outside patio.

Each house has an eclectic selection of art and have been decorated to the highest level. The houses and gardens are beautiful.

The gardens offer a stunning Thai-inspired yoga shala surrounded by banana trees and areas to relax.

Program

Day 1

Arrive into Tenerife–South Airport (TFS) and either collect your hire car or take the number 111 bus south to Adeje bus station. Blu Kite Yoga Retreats can also assist you in organising a private transfer. On arrival to the beautiful Villa Perenquen, you can settle in and get ready for your first yoga class. You will have a Yin yoga class and meditation before your welcome dinner which is created by the executive chef.

Day 2

Today you will start the day with yoga and meditation with your professional teacher. The yoga shala is gorgeous and has been created with thoughts of Thailand. It is a sacred space to enjoy yoga with the wonderful smells of jasmine and sounds of birds. You then have a brunch created by your chef to set you up for the day. You may want to head to the beach and swim or the little rocky cove to snorkel. In the early evening, you have a further yoga class and meditation before your 3-course dinner.

Day 3

It is such a wonderful way to begin the day on your mat with yoga, pranayama, and meditation. You will start to practice a little more pranayama and discuss further yoga postures and the 8 limbs of yoga. You have your freshly prepared brunch before having the day free. You are very close to Siam Park which is known as the best waterpark in the world so you may decide to head there for the day. Early evening, you continue your yoga practice.

Day 4

Your body is now used to the morning yoga practice and you will see and feel differences in your body and mind. You will feel more at peace and find it easier to sit for longer periods of time without moving, the mind will be stiller. You will explore different types of meditation. Your brunch will be ready for you and you have the rest of the morning and afternoon free. Early evening yoga practice before dinner in your tropical yoga and beach paradise.

Day 5

Your final full day in the island paradise, you can enjoy your yoga practice and reflect on how much you have learnt over the last few days. You may decide as a group to focus on some particular yoga posture or you can complete a chakra meditation. Your yoga retreat comprises of many things and you can learn more pranayama too.

You will again receive the delicious breakfast before a tour of the plantation with one of the owners, Juan. Here you learn how they have created this sustainable yoga centre in a 70-year old plantation. The rest of the day is free for snorkelling, walking, or resting before evening yoga and a final dinner with your chef, Andrea.

Day 6

A final morning yoga class with a focus on gratitude. You have spent 5 wonderful days in this beautiful yoga retreat centre and done many hours of yoga and meditation, you have also eaten some wonderful meals and of course enjoyed plenty of bananas while here. Your final yoga class will set you up for the onward journey. You will be taken back to the bus stop (which is really close) or you can drive back to the airport.

The houses are located within a working banana plantation which is also a sustainable villa. It is a few minutes' walk from the beach, with possibilities of snorkelling and swimming. You can walk into the small town and it is close to a bus stop if you need.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Tenerife–South Airport (TFS). Blu Kite Yoga Retreats does not supply a transfer to the villa, but there are frequent buses and they will give full details. Cars can be rented for approximately 120 EUR for the duration of your stay.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 20% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
