Throughout the trip, accommodation will be in shared double rooms. The rooms will be clean, comfortable, modest, and in a safe location. More details will be included by email. Kuflon Basics will be your home base for the majority of your trip.

Kuflon is hidden above crystal clear waters of the Assi Ganga river, full of fish, on the edge of a jungle full of birds, butterflies, and walks. It is a getaway for people who love space, clean air and good homely food. Whether you are out with family, friends or colleagues or if you want to be away from the noise and the crowd for some peace and quiet by yourself, Kuflon Basics is just the place for you.

Blisscapes Tour and Yoga Holiday India Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Delhi. Transportation to Delhi and guest house is provided. Acclimate with rest, relaxation, and local food.

Day 2

Travel by private taxi to Vrindavan, the sacred city of Krishna on the banks of the Yamana River. Get a feel for the streets of India. Sing at the Hare Krishna Temple and visit the Neem Karoli Baba Ashram among other options.

Day 3

Take a short day trip from the guest house in Vrindavan to Agra and visit the majestic Taj Mahal.

Day 4

Depart from Vrindavan on a quintessential Indian train due North towards the Himalayas. Take the train to the end of the line in Dehradun in the Himalayan foothills. Overnight will be in Dehradun.

Day 5

Arrive at the Himalayan hideaway Kuflon. Spend the day resting and rejuvenating at the main stay location.

Day 6

Explore around Kuflon. A short walk will take you to clear water pools and waterfalls.

Day 7 - Day 18

Kuflon Basics Eco-Retreat will be the home for this part of the tour. This will be the time where you can commune with nature, deepen your yoga practice, and connect with this sacred land and each other. You can make day trips or overnight excursions to Dodital (the birthplace of Ganesha and Himalaya Mountain Lake) and / or Gaumukh (the glacial source of the mighty Ganges). This will also be time for 1-on-1 healing sessions and there will be much space for personal reflection and / or creation which is what truly makes any travel experience complete.

Day 19

Travel by private taxi to Rishikesh. Sit on the banks of the Ganges. Visit Rishikesh Temples and / or Rishikesh’s hot spots. Meet local Rishikesh peeps. Cook a homecooked Ayurvedic meal with Mataji.

Day 20

Explore Rishikesh. Visit the Beatles Ashram or trek to Neelkanth in the Jungle above Rishikesh.

Day 21

Travel from Rishikesh to Delhi and do any last minute shopping / gift buying. Spend the last night together in Delhi. Share a closing meal and ceremony.

Day 22

Bid farewell. If you are flying out of Delhi, Blisscapes will provide transportation to the airport. If you choose to stay on, Blisscapes will let you know what they are doing and we'll make suggestions if you are traveling elsewhere in India.

Thad Malik is an inspired yogi and poet. He has practiced and taught yoga in the Suburbs of Detroit and remote Himalayan Hideaways. He is a former yoga studio owner and a current nomadic yogi gypsy. Wherever Thad's adventures or heartfelt yoga classes lead (which is many places) they invariably come again to the juiciest of moments: Now!
Amber Aten
Amber has been immersed in yoga and healing arts for more than 15 years. She is the owner of SUTRAS Yoga Boutique in Prescott, AZ. where she teaches yoga regularly. She has birthed and raised 3 beautiful babies which has been her life practice and has taught her to weave the sacred into the simple and the spiritual into the practical elements of life. She currently loves traveling and inspiring friends with yoga, art and luscious vibrant living.

Retreat location

You will be traveling through key towns and sacred sites in Northern India including Delhi, Vrindavan, Agra, Dehradun and Rishikesh. The main portion of the travels will be spent at the Eco / spiritual retreat center, Kuflon Basics in Uttarikashi, India.


3 daily meals will be served as part of the trip. The meals at Kuflon Basics are delicious, home-cooked, local, and vegetarian. The menu will vary from day-to-day, and please let Blisscapes know of any dietary restrictions you may have and please let them know if there is a certain dish you would love to try.

How to get there

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL). Blisscapes will pick you up from the airport to the first destination in Delhi. Transportation to / from the airport is included in the price.
