Influenced by both local and international aesthetics, Bisma Eight's spacious suites invoke a sense of place and a feeling of home. Touches like handcrafted Japanese-inspired soaking tubs, a large living area, and nods to Balinese art and architecture make a stay in any of Bisma Eight's 38 suites feel indulgent yet effortlessly comfortable.

The Garden Suite

Tucked into Bisma Eight’s bamboo courtyard, each of the 10 ground-floor Garden Suites features a cute outdoor sitting area and vibrant greenscaping. Enjoy the large living space, which can be screened off from the sleeping area, and direct access to the Bamboo Courtyard. The room has a king-sized bed, private garden, separate living and sitting area that can be screened off from the sleeping area, Goemon soaking tub, shower, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, mini-fridge, and in-room safe.

Whether you want to explore Balinese culture, elevate your cooking skill, more insight in sustainable farming, outdoor excursions around town, or relax your mind, body, and spirit, there's something for everyone to take part in and experience during the stay at the hotel.

It’s the wonder as you take in the sweeping forest valley and watercolor sunset from our pool deck. It’s the taste of food grown and harvested in the heart of Bali and prepared in ways that create tastes both comforting and unexpected. These are the moments that linger forever.

Bisma Eight stays true to the heritage that has made Ubud a destination that has beckoned to travelers for centuries while embracing the highest standards of luxury hospitality - they are modern and traditional, honoring both and detracting from neither.

Daily yoga

Hatha is a general category that includes most yoga styles. It is an old system that includes the practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (yoga breathing exercises), which help bring peace to the mind and body, preparing the body for deeper spiritual practices such as meditation.

In Vinyasa yoga, individuals coordinate movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next. Ashtanga, Baptiste Yoga, Jivamukti, Power yoga, and prana flow could all be considered as Vinyasa yoga.

Experience yoga sessions daily and as Bisma Eight always says, a healthy mind gives a healthy body gives a healthy life.

Retreat location

Rooted in the artisan heritage of central Bali, Bisma Eight is something entirely different from what people have to come to think of an Ubud hotel. Located a 10-minute walk to central Ubud, Bisma Eight is a part of the unique Ubud experience. They help people discover and define what Ubud means to them and strive to create singular moments that surprise and delight.

Ubud has always been an intoxicating mix of the old and new, with a hint of everything that came before gracefully uniting the past and the present. Part of the magic is discovering what Ubud means to you and knowing that once you've found it, you'll never forget it.

What makes Ubud different than any other place in Bali is the pulse of creativity that vibrates on every street, corner, and alley. It’s a place where chefs come to renew their passion for cooking, idealists trade ideas and find their focus, and artists and designers explore their craft. It makes staying in Ubud a chance to discover something new every time you walk out of your door.
