Balance Bethlehem is a gem of a retreat and healing center. It is visually stunning, green, and nestled in a Birch tree grove. It's where you'll enjoy daily yoga as well as our writing classes and workshops.

The Historic Mulburn Inn could be your home away from home. It is a mansion where Hollywood icons from the '40s used to go to hide out to honeymoon (and where the gorgeous gas stove that was gifted by Thomas Edison is still in use). You will sleep in old-world comfy private rooms. Your welcoming hostess, Mary, thinks of everything and even provides thoughtful modern touches like a Jacuzzi room!

Registration requirements

This book writing retreat is open to writers of all levels, from beginner to professional. It is perfect for nonfiction writers, however, a few fiction writers have come and progressed. How do you know if you’re "a writer"? Because you write and can tell stories. However, Dorothy only wants you to come if you yearn to make a loving, creative commitment to yourself.

You will enjoy yoga that will open you up, but not stress you out each morning. Then, sip on some tea and head into your Birth a Book class and workshops. You will be amazed at how much you accomplish in a short time. You’ll bond with your bright and warm new friends in class who will support your creative efforts as you delight in supporting theirs.
