Each day begins with a stretch on the beach followed by a one-hour power walk and then varies from there to include high-energy cardio workouts, tone and strength classes, and yoga.

What is Bikini Bootcamp?

Bikini Boot Camp is about more than just a fitness vacation or weight loss holiday. A stay here is designed to help guests reconnect to themselves and to nature by stepping out of their normal routine and taking time away just for them. It is a combination of exercise, healthy eating, adventure, relaxing, and pampering.

Guests leave feeling lighter not only in body but in mind and spirit as well. They offer a variety of activities, all of which are optional. The trainers and teachers are all qualified and specialized.

What does Bikini Bootcamp include?

Tulum adventures

  • Bike ride to the Mayan Ruins of Tulum

Beautiful flat ride along the beach to the ruins followed by a guided tour. When you get back to camp, you’ll definitely be ready to jump in the refreshing ocean. Unlike other cities, the pyramids of Tulum are small and most monuments had ceremonial functions. Tulum is the third most visited archaeological site of Mexico and a must-see due to its extremely beautiful setting on a bluff overlooking the Caribbean Sea and located just a short bike ride from the resort.

  • Visit a freshwater swimming pool

Tulum’s Grand Cenote is a large beautiful garden cenote with gentle white sand beach type areas along with easily accessible caves for snorkeling and diving. You can swim around the edges of the cenote, viewing depths up to 10 meters. Views include columns of stalactites and stalagmites of all shapes and sizes which resemble cities of skyscrapers.

Large balls of roots and vines seem to grow out of the underwater ceiling, connected to the large jungle trees above. Schools of fish tend to follow, eating up the plant debris which swim fins and paddling feet tend to stir up. Little green turtles paddle around near the garden's edge.

  • Climb a pyramid in Coba

Enjoy a beautiful jungle walk before reaching the incredible ruins of Coba. Discover a hidden paradise down a hidden path. This open-air Cenote offers a chance to kayak through a serene pond-like setting or relax on the beautiful deck and take in the scenery.

Retreat location

Located on a pristine beach in Tulum, Mexico, approximately two hours south of Cancun. The area is famous for the spectacular Mayan ruins, clear turquoise water, and white sandy beaches.

Special treatments

  • Soul services
  • Sweat lodge
  • Tarot
  • Sound healing
  • Egg cleansing
  • Mayan clay treatment

Temazcal (Sweat Lodge)

A traditional ritual practiced by Toltecs, Mayans, and Zapotecs that takes place in a handmade stone-like dome with a focus on reflection and gaining self-awareness. Led by a shaman, you sit in a circle with hot stones heated by a wooden fire. Fresh herbs, chanting, mantras, and good intentions fill the air as you release, renew, and refocus your energy. Tema comes from the word "bath" and "calli" meaning stone.

Mayan clay meditation ritual

Done beachside, this is more of a ceremony focusing on letting go of the old, to make room for the new. The mineral-rich locally sourced Mayan clay starts with an explanation, followed by a self-application, then a beachside meditation, and is then followed by a swim in the beautiful Caribbean sea. It leaves people feeling deeply connected to themselves and ready to move forward with love and certainty.

Tarot readings

Imagine having therapy done to you with cards. A one-on-one session with a gentle, nurturing intuitive who will lead you on a journey of self-discovery through the cards. Perfect for anyone looking to gain clarity and a new perspective.

Imagine having music played to your entire being. Imagine music massaging you from the inside out as you lay in a circle surrounding by love and light emanating from harps, flutes, drums, and crystal bowls. The music evokes an inner peace as you take an inward journey that leaves you feeling blissful and tuned, from the inside out.

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Please arrange your flight to arrive at Cancun Airport, the resort is located 1.5 hours south of the Cancun airport by car. Bikini Bootcamp can arrange ground transportation for you through a reliable and comfortable service that they have been using for some time now. The cost of transportation to or from the airport and Amansala is 135 USD each way. They do their best to coordinate for guests to share when possible, in which case, the rate would go down to 70 USD per person based on two, and 60 USD based on three.

There is an additional charge of 20 USD each for all pick-ups from the Cancun hotel zone. Pick-ups from Playa del Carmen are subject to the same rates listed above. They will do their best to coordinate multiple passengers for all arrivals. However, due to varying arrival times and flight delays, they can not always be 100% certain you will share even if they have it scheduled that way, but they will do their best.

They ask that you pay for transportation in cash upon arrival at Amansala if you have not pre-paid and that you look for the "AMANSALA" sign after you exit the customs terminal. They use safe reliable car services that have been working with them for over 10 years.

It is not recommended to rent a car. They will take you to most of the interesting sites in the area as part of the Bikini Boot Camp program. They can arrange additional day trips for you to Playa del Carmen, etc. if you are interested, for an additional charge. Taxis are readily available as well. Most guests choose to just stay at Amansala as it is so relaxing.

Airport: Cancún International Airport Airport transfer available: Cancún International Airport (US$143 per person) Additional charges may apply. You can request this in the next step.
