Yoga Retreats (1)
Ella's delighted to be leading the Big K Retreat’s yoga teaching team and to be collaborating in the creation of this truly exceptional program. She has been practicing yoga since 2007 and teaching since 2010. She trained in Karuna Yoga, (500 hours), Shakti Dance, several forms of meditation, other styles of yoga, Shamanic practices from several traditions, Taoist energy practices, intuitive arts, and energy work. Ella has a unique approach to yoga and meditation, breath and awareness, and nature and energy are central to how she works.
Studying and practicing yoga and many of its techniques has certainly brought Carina some answers. For more than 10 years, she has been practicing meditation and about 6 years ago she started to regularly practice Hatha yoga. She has been a yoga teacher for two years now and since then, she has been teaching yoga and meditation. She is also very interested in ecology and methods to protect and preserve nature. She was volunteering in an ecovillage in Sweden and has lived with a yogic master and his community in India.
It is hard to give an accurate answer when people ask Antonia how long she has been practicing yoga. She would rather say yoga just came into her life and ever since is an important part of her life. She thinks the first time she stepped on a mat was about seven years ago, but she went even deeper into her practice three years ago. Yoga became an indispensable element in her life and she wants to share the blessing of this practice with other people, with you! She is an open-minded and joyful person, but also highly sensitive. She is always trying to see someone’s true self, the true being.
Ana Pinto is excited and honored to meet you at the Big K Yoga Retreat. She has been practicing yoga - on and off the mat - for six years and she has three years of experience in teaching. She believes that life is our ultimate practice and that her duty (and passion) as a yoga instructor is to help people heal themselves. No teacher is greater than the one within, and Ana's job is to help you find your own inner guide.
