"This experience was one I will never forget. I gained such a wealth of knowledge, not just about yoga, but about life. I am incredibly grateful to have had such a wonderful instructor and cannot wait to share with others all that I have learned. I would highly recommend this school to others hoping to complete their YTT."

"I met Lura, the owner recently during my six month stay in Uvita. I had been curious about trying her yoga classes and when I saw she was doing a six week of combo classes, I couldn't resist! I'm currently in my second week and loving every minute. She is very devoted to helping each student reach their potential in their practice. I would highly recommend her classes! "

"After years of sports and injuries my body and mind finally listened to a very close friend who kept telling me to try yoga. I went several teachers and classes but never made a connection or had a teacher who not only taught classes but actually listened to my issues and concerns. I was taught to breath again. Sounds silly but few people actually know how to do it right, to bring the mind to rest and experience your body and soul. We started at square one because that's where I needed to be. As weeks go by we have progressed into rapid learning. Core, flexibility, balance, focus, meditation. I grow stronger and more connected to myself. Doing things I thought were impossible. Lura is an amazing teacher and I have watched her teach other classes and doing things she tells me I will be doing in time. I am just beginning but excited that I can progress with her to amazing levels. I love that I am not just a paying student, and she gives me extra time to handle my shortcomings. No mater what level you are or if you want to expand your horizons to the next teaching level Lura is amazing. As I sit here with a freshly broken leg, she contacted me to start my healing process so I don't let what I learned go to waste. And that I keep the parts that I can use right now strong and flexible. Breath, relax, let go, calm. Thank you Lura."

"My yoga lessons with Lura were amazing. Her encouragements, attention to detail and subtle corrections made me improve during each session, while she gave me the empowering feeling that I could do it all. She might be the biggest gem in the Dominical area. If you're looking for a healing and balancing yoga experience while you're on holiday there, I completely recommend you contact Lura."

"It is far more than her over-twenty experience as a yogini that made her guidance one of the best experiences of my life. Over the course of two weeks, Lura paid close attention to my personal challenges and addressed them carefully and thoroughly. She gently taught me all the poses, asanas, their purpose and benefits and how to combine them for a rewarding yoga experience."

"The absolute best yoga sessions I have ever experienced. Lara focuses on body control and movement in a way I had yet to experience at other schools. She really takes the time to correct posture and make the session more of a one on one even when there are others in the class. Classes are small and personal. Loved every..."

"The Teacher training was a wonderful experience. Lura is a very attentive teacher. I took the class as a mature overweight woman with much younger class mates and I did not feel out of place once. The Structure of the class was conducive to practice and learning. We had very knowledgeable instructors able to communicate their passion. I had wanted to do a yoga teacher training to enhance my practice for a long time but had hesitated because of the self doubt I had. i am so glad that I did it at Bienestar as it became really clear to me that yoga is for every body.. I recommend Bienestar to everyone but even more to people who have doubts about their ability. Savasana on the platform while the breeze was blowing and the waves were rolling in the distance is an experience i will cherish. The experience was wonderful!"
