Immerse yourself in a wonderful way to take time for yourself, deepen your yoga practice, relax, and enjoy good food and good company. This weekend yoga retreat with Liz Dillon will bring you harmony, balance, and vitality. The yoga classes will offer a balance of Hatha yoga, asana (physical postures), and pranayama (breath work and meditation). The Dynamic and Restorative yoga sessions will be strengthening and rejuvenating. It’s a perfect getaway for your weekend!
During this retreat you will stay at Eden Rise at Sandwell Retreat Barns, Devon. This place provides a beautiful environment. There are wide views to Dartmoor and access to seven acres extending to the Harbourne River. The hill side stone barns, around a courtyard, were recently converted and include large, bright, and open-ceiling rooms. The retreat venue has lovely group rooms with lots of light, Albion and Hayloft rooms, dining space for 24 persons with gas range kitchen, bedrooms for up to 20 persons all with basins plus shared showers, entrance courtyard garden and south terrace with picnic tables, sauna, as well as camping terraces and ecological features.
This retreat will take place at the beautiful retreat center Eden Rise with a yoga studio that looks out over the rolling of Devon hills.
This retreat will begin at approximately 15:00 on Friday and end around 15:00 on Sunday.
The first yoga class will begin on Friday evening at 17:00. There will be yoga Nidra to relax yourself deeply after dinner.
In the morning, there will be a meditation class followed by a Hatha yoga session. There will be an option for a fresh juice in the morning followed by breakfast after the class. On this day, you will have the options for walks, going to Totnes, or having a massage or sauna before lunch. Then, the next class will start again at 17:00.
This class combines Hatha and Restorative yoga. Afterwards, you will have dinner and an evening activity. Often, another yoga Nidra is offered and sometimes you will enjoy singing around the bonfire outside. Besides, you can choose to go to sleep as well. Those activities are optional.
The day will begin with a meditation and yoga practice followed by breakfast, free time, then the final yoga class at 12:30 to 13:30. Afterwards, lunch, tea, and cake will be served before you go home.

Liz is a Hatha yoga teacher whose initial training was with The Life Centre, now known as Yogacampus. She has also trained with and is a member of British Wheel of Yoga - London Region. She also marvels at Restorative yoga, yoga therapy, pregnancy, and postnatal yoga. Liz's background before yoga training was a drama and movement therapist.
You will have delicious organic and vegetarian daily meals cooked by Charlotte. Please do advise Bermondsey Fayre if you have any dietary needs.
You can enjoy your complimentary use of the wooden sauna or you can get a massage session during your free time. These treatments are included in the price.
