Bella helps people find balance and build confidence by supporting her clients on retreat. It is hard to break habit patterns back home when familiar temptations and triggers surround you. She struggled with her mental health and her eating habits, now having found her balance, she shares her tools with others. Bella is a certified health coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and a yoga teacher. Her coaching is a two-steps-forward, one-step-back approach, learning from mistakes, letting go of perfection, and accepting you’ll make mistakes again in the future.
Nepal is a landlocked country between India and China, it has a population of 26.4 million, it is mostly mountain region but also has fertile flatlands bordering India (a bit politically contentious), 81% Hindu, 9% Buddhist, and it has eight of the world's 10 tallest mountains. Its economy is based on agriculture and tourism. It is the most amazing country in the world.
The food along the trail is delicious, nutritious, and mostly locally grown. There is traditional food on the menu of Dhal Bhat (rice, lentils, and curry) or Western-style foods have crept in – pasta, pizzas, rice dishes, potato dishes, eggs, muesli, porridge, and pancakes. Bella can help guide you on choosing nourishing nutritious choices while also allowing you to choose whatever you want to refuel your body after a hard day trekking.
Meat is something that is avoided in the mountains as it can often make you sick.
All breakfasts included and lunch and dinner included when you're trekking in the mountains.
Water is not included. You can buy chlorine tablets, pay for treated water refills, or buy water bottles. Bella advises chlorine tablets or water refills to limit the contribution to the waste disposal limitations in the mountains in Nepal. Hotels in the city will have water refill areas.
