Enjoy an autumn weekend relaxing and meditating with BE Yoga Retreats. This retreat is carefully planned to create a unique experience for you. From the schedule to the menu, and everything in between, the program is packed with yoga classes, workshops, and meditation sessions that will be delivered in a brand new classroom built of recycled materials and with beautiful countryside views.
Paddington Farm is a charitable trust and a social enterprise, located on a 43-acre organic farm situated at the foot of the famous Glastonbury Tor, in Somerset. Just a 20-minute walk from the town center, the farm offers all the delights of escaping to the countryside with the chance to enjoy some of that unique Glastonbury charm.
During your stay, you may be accommodated in the farmhouse and the adjacent longhouse. Dormitory style rooms, as well as smaller shared rooms and private rooms are available. The accommodation is basic but comfortable and enjoys a beautiful roaring fire in the communal lounge and dining area.
Often, you will find yourself rushing around trying to fit too many things into your life, leaving little time to devote to your own well-being. A yoga retreat gives you the opportunity to step back from your busy life, reflect, and let go of tension and anxiety, as well as to help you physically tone and strengthen your body.
There are many different forms of yoga but they all descend from one tradition, Hatha yoga. Hatha meaning sun and moon, or opposing energy, and yoga meaning to unite. Yoga ultimately brings balance, it unites minds and bodies so that you will feel whole and complete.
Originally from Devon, Elise is a qualified teacher of yoga and dance and holds the UK's highest qualification in sports and remedial massage. Elise has been practicing yoga for over ten years and since becoming a group fitness instructor in 2006, she has coordinated and taught fitness programs in health clubs and resorts across the UK and Europe. A patient and enthusiastic teacher, Elise is deeply fascinated by the many physical and psychological benefits of yoga and is keen to share her knowledge and experience.

Three daily home-cooked vegetarian meals are included in the package. BE Yoga Retreats is a family business; therefore, Elise's mother, Kathy, is the head chef, with the support of her father, Bob. BE Yoga Retreats understands the importance of food as part of the retreat experience.
The whole Beechen family is involved in the careful planning of every menu, considering the theme of the retreat, the season, and the individual dietary requirements of guests. The family is always bringing new ideas to the menus, as well as bringing back some of the old favorites by popular demand. All meals served are vegetarian, made from scratch, delicious, and nutritious.
During your free time, you will have the opportunity to walk in the surrounding countryside and visit Glastonbury. Paddington Farm offers a range of rural activities. BE Yoga Retreats will be organizing some optional extra activities which may include:

One massage treatment is included in the package. Additional 45-minute treatments are priced at 40 GBP. You can choose from the following options:
This treatment uses firmer, slower pressure and stretching techniques to release tension from tight muscles.
Ideal if you have tight hamstrings, quadriceps, or gluteus. This treatment uses a variety of deep tissue work and stretching techniques to help improve flexibility in the legs and release tension in the feet.
A soothing treatment which focuses on relaxation of the back and shoulder muscles.
This treatment includes soothing work with peppermint oil around the head, neck, and face. It is ideal if you suffer from headaches or tension in the jaw and neck.
A soothing treatment, with long flowing strokes to lull you into a state of deep relaxation.
This treatment is for you if you have a long standing muscular injury you would specifically like help to address.

Coaches run frequently from London and Heathrow to Bristol, where you can connect with the 376 local bus to Glastonbury. There is also a daily direct service (403) that departs from Glastonbury at 06:50 a.m. or from London at 7 p.m. Additionally, there is a direct coach from Bridgewater to London, which you can get to using the 375 / X75 local bus from Glastonbury.
Trains go from London, Paddington to Castle Cary or Bristol Temple Meads. From Castle Cary, you will need a taxi for the 12-mile journey. From Bristol Temple Meads, you can take a bus to Glastonbury (service 376).
